As missions are completed more advanced weapons and equipment are made available. In addition, the desert environment of Dubai is brought into the game in a unique way with stunning visuals, and dynamic sandstorms that actively effect level designs, and which can be used to help and hinder progress. An absolutely amazing title.
They saying the story is good . But . I had to stop playing after 30 min cuz i cant stand the s*it console cover based peasant gameplay .
The story is amazing good. The graphics are incredibly good for 2012 as well.
As for the gameplay …. it’s a perfunctory 3rd person cover shooter. It’s sort of part of the meta commentary.
It’s worth it.
Don’t push him… Just don’t… Or do you want him scarred too ?
Is that game scarry or what ?
…In a… metaphysical way, yes. It IS quite scary to realize something is analyzing you without you knowing it and without it telling you it is right up until the end… To sit there, in your chair, terrified of your own hands… The game grinning back at you…
I will say no more. You want a game on par with Silent Hill 2 in terms of hard-hitting emotion and questionably even more meta-narrative then even something as socially-relevant as Metal Gear Solid 2 ? Be my guest.
You want simple entertainment ? Turn back immediately !
And I hope that once that title screen flag gets destroyed… You realize something about us all: this industry, the people in it and yourself as well. But don’t let that realization crush you. We can all still… go back home…
Ok i i give it a try some times . And i hope i wont vomit my self from that console style gameplay .
People seem to overreact on this one. You basically kill thousands only to realise the war is bad. That’s it. Woah, shocker. But immature gaming audience wasn’t ready for a mainstream game about this back in the day, so everyone went crazy with how innovative this was.
The civil war is also depicted very silly in this game. It was much more dready in say HL2 if we talking mainstream. Valiant Hearts comes to mind too.
Hell, in HL2 overwatch was outright beating and killing civies and sending shells with headcrabs that wiped out the whole cities population if the people won’t abide Combines will.
That is scary to me. Also there were planned child workers, before the german hacker spoilt it all for all the fans. What a jerk.
You know what…? You may have unknowingly done exactly what the game wanted you to do. And thank God you did…
…I didn’t.
So the game had sh*t gameplay on purpuse ?
…I… I need a smoke… *starts to whimper*
Well . Dark souls have easy to learn but hart to master gameplay. its chalenging . You can experiment . You have freedom . You can do what ever you want . It have primitive controlls but the gameplay is fun .
In spec ops you take cover and shoot . Dumb console gameplay. and games should be gameplay firs story second .but its only my opinion.
War is… just that… Cover and shoot. Cover and shoot. Because it is not fun.
…or is it ?
No its not fun . ( not for me ) . But what kind of cover are we talking about where you press a button and you are in you safe space . Or a game where is no cover system .
I play war games where you cant take cover.
Just play the game till the end.
Damn one of the best stories I’ve seen in a game.
The most underrated game of all time. This is the only correct answer.
You guys never read ‘Heart of Darkness’, did you?
You want to feel yourself a hero, right ? Jump in, kids. This game has such… *deep sigh* Such sights to show you… Just remember not to feel bad about it. It’s just a game, right ?
Right…?
Great game, get it you chumps!
Specs Ops:The LOL ending…
Which one would that be ?…
If I tell you, that would be spoiler..
True, there are some people on here who will be spoilt… Okay… Let’s not spoil it for the kids around here. But there are no “lol” endings in The Line. They are ALL the same thing in the end, if you think about it.
If you have play it,you know that the ending will make you say WTF??lol…but that’s one of the best twist ending in video games
Pretty much, yes.
I have more then played it. I used Spec Ops: The Line for my university report project. The report was called “Metanarrative in popular culture”.
Does this game support 21:9 aspect ratio? If yes then I’m gonna instantly download
…You don’t seem to understand what you are dealing with here, my friend… It is not about aspect ratios, gameplay resolutions and so on…
It is about you and me. Us as a whole.
You probably get this a lot but I’ll say it anyways, you are a fagg*t.
XD
As you say, kid, as you say 🙂 My words are flying right through your head)))
Lol, what a weirdo, please don’t shoot up whatever school you’re in .
You’re a riot ;D
