  1. Aliens, Tom Clancy is rolling in his grave. XD Hopefully there’s a good discount during the free weekend and the event. Which version to buy? The website says it’s part of Season 3 content, so does that mean you need the Season 3 pass to play it? God I hate modern gaming sometimes.

    1. Much like every other Season the game has had, you probably will not have to pay anything for it unless you want the characters that are released immediately without having to grind for them. Also, stop acting like Tom Clancy didn’t jump the shark while he was alive, because he absolutely did and was a complete and total hack by 1995 who wasn’t even writing his books any more.

      1. I thought he wrote his own books well past that, like half a decade. He wrote Rainbow Six himself didn’t he?

        1. He did write Rainbow Six himself, but he didn’t write all his books himself, even ones before Rainbow Six came out. For instance, Red Storm Rising was co-written by Larry Bond and it came out in the late 80s.

    2. It’s free to any R6S owner. No need for passes. From day 1 devs were really nice for the community. They never split up the player base and that’s, in part, what still makes this game so enjoyable.

  2. off topic guys

    * ***** miners are finally dying *****

Nvidia Share Price Gets Crushed as Bitcoin Heads Towards Zero

    link above.

Good. All this douches capitalist and miners got REKT !!

    1. I can’t see the link you posted. I really HOPE this news/gossip is indeed true to some extent.

Mining has already caused much unrest in the Gaming community, with the GPU prices skyrocketing to the top, but I hope this ends soon.

    2. Problem is that from what I know people don’t really mine bitcoin anymore. They mine all the other cryptocurrencies.

Thou cause I don’t know anything about cryptocurrencies fall of bitcoin could mean either fall of cryptocurrencies as whole OR it will be just shift in power.

    3. I didn’t used to begrudge miners trying to make some money in mining but they have had a huge negative impact on our gaming hobby to the point where you can’t even buy a card unless you are willing to pay twice what they were selling for months ago.

I see Bitcoins have fallen from a high of $19,000 in December to around $7,000 today. That makes me happy because the lower they go then the less lucrative it is for miners to bother mining.

One thing I wonder about is how long will it take to replenish the supply channels to the point that prices will go back to what they were months ago.

      1. Sure hope so. Can’t wait for 1180TI or 2080TI whatever they call it. Been holding on my TitanXm for too long and ever since the mining frenzy, i feared i wouldn’t be able to get a card :(.

      1. I only played CS:GO. Recently got bored with it. Is rainbow six siege like a slower paced CS:GO?

Is it more based on teamplay? Which means one extremely good individual player can’t dominate and win games?

        1. It is a much slower pace than cs:go and if one player is very good he can take out multiple other players just like cs go but it’s a little bit harder given the game’s circumstances. At first every new player gets destroyed because you do not know spots and angles etc but eventually you’ll get it and it becomes very rewarding.
