  1. I hope for everyone and their mothers that the single player experience is worth the pricetag otherwise this title is as dead as the fast and furious serie

      1. Yea good for them. Doesn’t change the fact that there was no good acting and the story was so crap… i mean common boom vroom boom vroom vroom boom boom there you have the movie summed up.

        1. You’re not wrong but just saying the franchise isn’t dead while it’s making money. 15 movies and spin-offs later maybe but it’s no where close to dead yet.

          1. Was dead to me after they made a sequel to the first one!
Latest ones are so ridiculous now, Driving across sky scrapers, Next it will be just driving straight through them. Because you know when they hit that boost switch they enable the Hollywood magic and become invincible, People are too dumb to know any better these days!

    1. Well you play as a brown woman who is the daughter of high ranking empire office. Who are the bad guys and you are a spec ops/pilot combo (as opposed to having diffirent characters in diffirent roles like call of duty of BF1) and the story is written by two Antia Sarkeesian fanboys.

        1. If you ask me it kinda dropped the ball with the plane campaign, The ending of that was meh and then the next missions were meh and short.

By far the first campaign was the best. The one with the tank. BF1 campaign was not done by dice.

    2. as dead as the insanely successful and profitable fast and furious series? You have a weird definition of the word dead mate.

      1. Was dead after the first one for me.
Hollywood BS took over and became worse as series rolled on!
Of course it’s still making money and they could go up to fast and furious 200, People will watch anything as long as they slow mo some hot chicks a$$ jiggling, Then camera pans over to some ridiculous over the top rice burner that sounds like a fart cannon while blinding you with it’s paint work and illegal Neons.
But yeah each to their own, First one was great especially for a fellow V8 enthusiast/owner!

  2. I hate EA but deem they heve the best technology in terms of GFX and Performance. I hope this Single Player will be good.

    1. It’s official Star Wars canon, story was made with LucasArts, so at least that’s some reason for them to try hard.

      1. story was made by two anita sarkeesian fans, so no. disney has turned star wars into a sjw propaganda as seen by the new movies.

          1. I dont know if you are the typical troll that calls everyone a pirate. But i have not stoped reading news articles on how male feminists and Gamergate critics are found to be misogynistic R a p i s t s.

            SOOOOOO yeah.

          1. I dissagree, spec op the lines can be summed up as “here is a game marketed as an action shooter” oops we lied it is now a game about making you feel bad about war and telling you that you are not a hero and everything goes to sssssssht. Enjoy. Also the “plotwists” there are nothing more than replacing cutscenes with diffirent cutscenes. It could be good if it was subtle but it was not subtle, they simply changed the cutscenes and the dialogues for what happened. So the story of the game was essentially a lie, it was a bait and switch.

But aside form that, this guy you are talking about cant stop praising the ign guy who appeared on Anita,s Sarkeesian’s video and cant stop worshipping here.

So something tells me that these two are getting along so well together as evident by their multiple twitter posts praising each other that they are best buddies in script writing, that i get the feeling they think alike.

    2. Well technically, DICE programmers did all the heavy lifting, but yeah EA owns them and the Frostbite engine. Frostbite is probably the current champion of game engines given visuals/performance ratio.

    1. Yeah, the plot of the latest unrealistic non-scientific sci fi pew pew game must have a square jaw white guy in it or it destroys believability

  3. this screams “virtue signaling”
add in with the layer of cancer (lootboxes) and straight up pay2win
this game will die out in a week

maybe in a year or two, EA will add Dice to the list of victims
but since they already shilled out to SJW’s with N*ggerfield 1 and now this
i’ed say they’re as good as dead.

  4. If you buy this game for the campaign, you are telling EA they did the right thing cancelling the Amy Hennig RPG. YOU are the reason they cancelled that game in the first place. Notice they immediately put out a story trailer for BF II after the cancellation. Friends don’t let friends support EA. Play Force Unleashed 1 at 4k DSR/VSR or play the F2P SWTOR Sith Agent story (can play it good or bad). That story was better than any game Bioware has put out since ME 2, because Alexander Freed wrote it, who is an actual author and not some idiot from Tumblr (which is basically who is writing BF2). Seriously @%#% EA. Let this horrible company die. When you play the SWTOR Sith Agent campaign, revel in stealing their bandwidth and knowing they killed Bioware to. The founders left after that game and ME 3. They had enough of EA’s crap. Follow their example.
