    1. i dont know man 30 enemies on the map seems to be pretty hard to pull of both technical and gameplay wise. Better than far cry with 5 enemies in a camp any day.

      1. Of course it is hard, it is a enemy camp, marking all of them trivializes everything.
Now, if they where to be tagged and showed on a map/gps system, a menu or diegetic HUD, then I think it would be better, it wouldnt clutter the screen with so much info.
Also, you have a tactical squad, communication and all roles, then commit to it. If I have support snipers on that hill they better be supporting me, looking and communicating all the time, guidance and what not. Of course, that also depends of the players but again, trivializing the systems and difficulty dillutes the whole experience. I’ve got to say, mechanically speaking, this video is great, like a dream really, but it’s the design of some of the systems that does my head in.

        1. far cry primal got much better after the survival mode update, maybe they will listen to the community here if we bug them enough.

  1. I love it when Ubisoft does downgrade inception, they’ve already downgraded the game from the initial reveal, part of which is shown in the banner of this article.

    1. This is a common tactic from Ubisoft: get their consumers in a sleepy, trance-like state so they’re more pliable and likely to make an impulse pre-order purchase.

  2. The downgrade is so strong in this one! I feel obligated to say this! Ubisoft…enough is enough…but I know your play…to bad that I can’t tell…due to you know…game development designs 😉

      1. Yeah, in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 you could instantly control your squad mates or give them remote orders, but that game was more straightforward, just run’n’gun.

I don’t see how can they do it here without breaking the ‘flow’, since many things need to be synchronized (infiltrations, takedowns, detonations, extractions…) And I seriously doubt they would implement and overhead camera and pause function to a game like this.

Hats off if they pull it off but heh, this is Ubisoft so…

  3. Again people are being too harsh. To me this is what mgs v and division was meant to be. I will have a ton of fun with this just like i had with gta v mp. Night looks fine, no need to bash the downgrade considering how large the map was and i would prefer it to be smaller with good graphics. I am curious all those people who hate it, what exactly they looking forward for because this is very tactical and required team coordination and i wouldn’t bet on ai doing this.

The question is how much of this was scripted for the trailer, the ai does not seem to fire their guns much.

  4. Damn, the graphics are out of control, looks soo good. Dunno why but i really feel like firing up MGS V again after watching this.

    1. After eating a bunch of Chinese food covered in MSG I feel like popping a squat and firing out a fecal torpedo.
