  1. 5:21 STOP DOING THAT, Dear game developers STOP MAKING ME CRAWL THROUGH HOLES IN THE WALLS, this isnt x360 that has a whooping 256mb of ram so you need unload areas from memory and load the new ones, make it like dark souls that the environment is interconnected and you go back and fourth and unlock paths to previous areas and make those areas look different with themes so they are memorable and you remember how to go there without looking at a map.

Also is it me or those dog animals he fights after that look like a dck?

The movement and fighting animations are still floaty and wobbly.

its ok i guess, id prefer titanfall 3 but that game didnt sell. I guess this will inject some life into the dead franchise known as star wars so it can die a later day.

  2. Kind of lame how there’s dismemberment for the critters and robots, but not for humans and other humanoid species. Guess they’re trying to stick to the T rating or something.

The game also seems to suffer from classic Unreal Engine stutter issue just like the previous title. I double-checked one of the parts where I noticed stuttering by running the video at 1/4 the speed and sure enough, there’s stutter.

    1. Yeah there is no such thing as an Unreal 4 game that looks good that also doesn’t have that fake loading screen stutter. The plus side is that Unreal engine games usually all look great and perform about the same because they are so developer friendly.

Unreal 5 claimed to fix it, we will know in a couple years when the games come out. Google “unreal 5 engine asset stutter” and you will find lots of articles about it and their possible solutions.

      1. There’s a mod (alpha version) for the first game and the last update was 2 years ago. I wish there was a mod for dismemberment, but I’m no getting my hopes up.

  3. Someone please explain how you craft a full on sequel and end up with animation rigs that look that bad. On a supposed AAA industry lead published game too? Looks horrendous. I had high hopes for this.

    1. That’s EA for you. They are always like this. You think they’ll work on animations, improve/fix things? Nope.

They’ll make something that’s trending in demand for primarily console players and that too with mediocre gameplay and people will love it.

People praising them for Dead Space remake when, not long ago, they were the one’s shutting down the studio and forcing multiplayer into that series, eventually killing it.

  4. The lack of creativity is impressive.
