Electronic Arts and DICE have released the first developer diary for Star Wars: Battlefront. Star Wars: Battlefront is powered by the Frostbite engine and will be taking advantage of Photogrammetry. The game is currently planned for a November release on current-gen platforms. Enjoy!

No space battles really killed the hype for me. I hope they at least make some space battle DLC.
You are what’s wrong with the videogame Industry.
I’m what’s wrong with the game industry because I’m disappointed they won’t be including something? Lol.
Because you’re already asking for content to be DLC.
It should be obvious by now that DICE is going to release DLC, just like they did with Battlefield 3 and 4. They’ve already confirmed space battles won’t be in the game, so I want them to at least be in the inevitable DLC.
So you’re basically telling them “you’re going to f*ck me over but if you make pay extra for it I will gladly do so” . It’s your acceptance of this practices what disgusts me. It’s because of people like you that they can get away with this and do it over and over.
I don’t consider DLC packs that add new maps, new game modes, new vehicles and new weapons to be “f*cking me over”. This isn’t a case of buying a single weapon for $5 or whatever. DLC has been around for years and isn’t going away, the anti-DLC attitudes and boycotts haven’t resulted in any changes. So either get with the times or stop buying games if you think they don’t deserve your money.
Yes, because taking away basic, planned content sure is better in any way.
Of course I won’t pay money for these kind of games, and check Ubisoft’s numbers on PC, they’re already losing money due to sh**ty practices.
If “anti-DLC attitudes and boycotts” don’t work it’s because of people like you, which takes me to my very first comment; you are what’s wrong with the videogame Industry. Now go on and rationalize your cancer enabling some more, I’m sure you still have some more bullsh*t arguments you’ve ended up believing.
Oh they will, I mean in the vid they’re even taking pics of the Deathstar. How could they make a Star Wars game, without any of it being in space, it’s got to be in the future DLC.
They’ve only shown a small glimpse of the game. What makes you think space battles won’t be in the main game? Battlefront 2 had it back in 2005. It’s odd that they’d exclude that 10 years later.
They’ve already said there won’t be any. Just Google “Battlefront no space battles” and you’ll find recent articles about it.
I see a lot of folks complaining that there is “no space battle”.. But if I’m not mistaken there was absolutly no “space battle” in the First Star wars: Battlefront.. only in the second one.. so I don’t mind about space battle, plus if I want good space battle I’m going to Elite: Dangerous or Star Citizen not an “action mixed mode game” like Battlefront.
Reminder that speeder bikes avoid collisions with trees automatically and ATATs are literally on rails in this game.
Do not support this. It’s a tech demo made to look nice in trailers, and that’s all it is.
