It is. I GTX 970 G1 GAMING ! And it has been with me since 1996 when i got my first pc till today and will forever be.
Compare the E3 reveal cinematic trailer with actual gameplay. Yeah this is why i am not excited about this trailer.
Holy crap this looks amazing.
Yeah 75% of of it was cut scenes and the rest seemed to be on rails gameplay.
I was talking about the graphics
Yes m8. I was pointing out how that was also the case in the first game and in a earlier post how that was the case in 1998 SW games. simply making the point that it may look nice all it likes but with that should deffo be pointed out that that wont make it great.
But i agree it looks nice.
Idk if you know, but Frostbite 3 runs cutscenes in real-time. The first game’s cutscenes looked just as good as the game.
Yes i do know that. But why is this a point to make ?
Because it means that the cutscenes are barely different from gameplay and it isn’t really a refutation to say that “75% are cutscenes”
eh ? Yes it is. Cut-scenes also always have higher rendering settings and the camera angles to highlight it all more makiing it lok even more impressive.
A cut scene is a cut scene wether ran in engine or not. Granted i myself also find it more impressive if it is run within the engine but it does not change the fact that it has nothing to do with gameplay.
When did I ever talk about gameplay? I was talking solely about that graphics IN the gameplay. And again, Frostbite doesn’t just do the cutscenes in engine, but in real time. They adjust the cutscenes to match your settings. Sure the camera angles look better but that just highlights what’s already there.
You are a bit of a “special” one aren’t you.
I refer you to my previous reply to you :
“Yes m8. I was pointing out how that was also the case in the first game and in a earlier post how that was the case in 1998 SW games. simply making the point that it may look nice all it likes but with that should deffo be pointed out that that wont make it great.

eh yeah , in-engine is usually in realtime since it is ….running in the engine… duh.
To which i also refered to with:
“A cut scene is a cut scene wether ran in engine or not. Granted i myself also find it more impressive if it is run within the engine but it does not change the fact that it has nothing to do with gameplay.”
You slow or something ?
Great, ad hominems.
First of all, when you said 1998 sw games looked good in trailers as well, the implication is that it won’t actually look that good in game. And no, “in engine” is NOT the same as real time. Engines are capable of pre recorded sequences that rent real time which is what a lot of engines do. Frostbite doesn’t.
Then you said “it may look nice that won’t make it great. I don’t even know why you brought that up because I was talking solely about graphics, not the game itself. So it’s still a mystery why you’re mentioning gameplay when I was commenting on the graphics.
I’m not slow, we just misunderstood each other.
No the 1998 game i referred to simply had great graphics but the gameplay was nothing more then a on rail shooter. Which is what this seems to be judging from the gameplay seen here. I detailed this already in that post (to which i refered in my reply to you).
” “in engine” is NOT the same as real time. Engines are capable of pre recorded sequences that rent real time which is what a lot of engines do. Frostbite doesn’t.”
Utter BS nonsense.
Running in-engine means it runs in the engine meaning it is realtime and nothing else.
Pre-recorded means it is pre-recorded and it could be a recording done in engine (even at 10FPS and fixed in editing) which makes it pre-rendered/Pre- recorded and not running In engine.
“Then you said “it may look nice that won’t make it great. I don’t even know why you brought that up”
You dont? Still dont ?
AGAIN i refer you to me previous reply to you that explains and points this out :
“Yes m8. I was pointing out how that was also the case in the first game and in a earlier post how that was the case in 1998 SW games. simply making the point that it may look nice all it likes but with that should deffo be pointed out that that wont make it great.

If you now still dont get it then i doubt you ever will have the capability to do so.
Stop it, mate. You’re embarrassing yourself.
Oh really, how is that.
(Not that you are capable of pointing that out..)
Multiplayer….yawn…
star wars is the most overrated thing that exist on this planet, i used to like it when i was a teen but goddamn i hate it now
Looks like it is on rails again.
Much like rebel assault from 1998
Let me guess you can’t land in the enemy hangar and blow the ship up from the inside?
“Enjoy…”
…it, I will not.
Exactly what I hate, Stupid marketing showing cut scenes.
Not sure about others but I don’t buy a game for cut scenes!
If I want to watch that I go watch a movie.
What the hell happened to Star Wars games post Lucas Arts Studios shutting down?
