Senua's Saga Hellblade II new feature-fixed

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II gets a new in-engine trailer

Ninja Theory has released a new in-engine trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II that focuses on Senua’s 3D model. Senua looks better than ever in this new trailer, though I’m a bit disappointed by this trailer.

The reason I’m disappointed is because this trailer only shows Senua. And, that’s it. No combat sequences, no new environments, nothing. And, for a game that was initially announced in 2019, this trailer is kind of disappointing.

My guess is that Microsoft will share a more action-packed trailer this June. So yeah, this is more of a glimpse of what the game currently looks like. Nevertheless, I’d hoped for something more than a 3D model.

Lastly, I don’t expect Hellblade 2 to come out in 2023. My guess is that it will release in 2024 or even 2025.

Enjoy!

    1. If anything, you need to blame John for the article.
People these days wants to see the whole game in a trailer before it gets released.

  1. Nasty “game”, next stop the top of a pyramid cutting out hearts and selling the rest for food, sheesh what a jewmasonictranscultist world, ooga booga.

  2. The goyim in the JewTube comments are so impressed right now, they’ve perhaps never heard of the phrases “downgrade” or “lower your expectations,” they deserve to be disappointed when this “game” turns out to be a downgraded, false-marketted trash that underdelivers because these brain dead goyim don’t even know what hits them.

  3. Everytime they show something about this series they have to zoom into the face of their main character model, it’s the only thing they technically did well and all the budget went her mocap, so these idiots proudly show how much these 3D eyes ate 50% of the budget and hope to bait people into buying a game with inexistent gameplay

    1. I liked Hellblade, not sure what you are on about here. It explored mental illnesses, which is a theme mostly unexplored in games.

It wasn’t even nearly perfect, that’s for sure.

      1. It has mental illness as a theme but it’s mostly a marketing trick IMO, gameplay wise it’s as shallow as a puddle, toddler level puzzles and incredibly simplistic combat and level design, it has good atmosphere and sound design but nothing really capable of raising it far beyond average

        1. I do agree on the most part, including finding the stupid signs, that was elementary as all hell, however there are far worse games out there.

          1. Of course there are far worse games, that’s obvious, but there far better games too, for the same scale and price and even release window, Observer was a better game IMO, as elementary as Hellblade but incredibly more creative and surprising, give it a try

      2. unexlpored? UNEXPLORED? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW? Every sillent hill game and its clones are about that, it didnt “explore” mental illness, it just promoted it. Mentally ill lunatics should be in asylums or dead not promoted tolerated or listened.

      3. Why would it be good to “explore” mental illness in the first place? the game is a cringe ball bossbabe fiesta.

  4. Hey we need X60 series and DLSS 4, to get it even close to those bullshit vids they released way back – and to get 30 fps!

So tired of all BS vids/pics that Never comes close when games are released!

All these awesome UE5 vids we have seen .yeah right..2028 maaaybe!!

    F*k em all ?

    1. Are you talking about that video from last year where they take on a giant? That stuff was post-processed to hell and back lol. Absolute blur-fest. And I’m sure there was gameplay. Pressing up on on the analog stick for a minute then down for another minute totally counts!

    1. People’s taste are exactly what it means. Different from yours. And yours’ not the one used as the model to be followed.

      1. Different is just a way to say their tastes are crap. But it kind of fits, since they have mental illness like the d*ke portrayed in this game.

  5. I liked the first, but just because of the atmosphere the sound creates. And the theme they chose is interesting as well. Hope this one get to be a little more like a real game, not that tech demo that was the first.

  6. WOW! I don’t give a sh*t what the naysayers say in this comment section. That was impressive. I know it will not look like that “in-game” as this was an “in-engine” example but the uncanny valley has almost been fully traversed with CG like this. I am VERY interested to see what the final product will look like.

My comment has been stuck in “waiting to be approved by a moderator for a while now so I took out the “s” word and replaced it with “care” and it is still in “waiting to be moderated” I copied and pasted it and re-posted and got the same result (also that was my original comment) so sorry for the double post but I have no idea why this comment would be flagged considering the crazy shit that gets posted in the comments section of DSoG!
