  1. Still haven´t finished Call of Pripyat. Awesome though that they are still making mods for the original. Played through it a couple of years ago, with some graphics (mainly) mod. Great, great experience!

    1. still havent finished any of them haha. but they are very good games the little i played. Quite a treat to play with OpenAL 3d sound enabled too just like the amnesia and penumbra games.

With some of the mods, it even holds up and looks better than some of todays recent games which is awesome. The only thing that turns me off is the animations sometimes or the lack of voice acting, but the budget was smaller so you cant be too picky. With the complete mods installed, its a really good wasteland and moody experience. Creepy at night too when its pitch black sometimes lol.

    2. I got into SoC about a week ago and it’s awesome, the gun play and locations are just so damn good, using complete edition as well.

  2. Those interested in Stalker might also be interested in Survarium.

It’s made by ex-members of GSC Gameworld (creators of Stalker) that formed Vostok games. The other members started 4A games, creators of the Metro series.

Anyway, they have effectively made a Stalker MMOFPS called Survarium (free to play).

    1. Yeah been following it for quite a while. Hope they make something of it. Not too glad about the MMO part of it though. It might just get lost in the sea of similar games about to hit the market in the upcoming year or so.
