  1. its not like outlast, shut up about being like outlast, outlast does not have puzzles, inventory and ammo.

    1. How is it not? It has item and inventory management, puzzle solving, exploration, and combat, all things that old Resident Evil games had.

      1. But can i play it like call of duty lol man the last few have been terrible? Man i hope this game stays like this from what i’ve seen

        1. sure if you like hiding and running out of ammo. Did you see the size of the inventory? You cant fit anything in there.

          1. That is exactly what I want from games like Resident Evil. I don’t want to feel like I am overpowered, I wanna survive horror completely out of my control.

Also you are not supposed to fit everything you want in there. You have to decide what to keep or not, like the classic ones.

If you are looking for something else, this probably is not what you are looking for.

          2. I was trolling lol, guess i suck at it just hate RE6 so freaking much and 5 to me was a 7/10 at best. For some darn reason RE4 was amazing to me despite it not being a true RE title IMO

          3. 100% Agree with you man!!! We already have plenty of games with unlimited ammo that makes me not even feel scared.

So far loving what i’m seeing.

      2. There are other games with those, does that make them all Resi games?.

It’s like saying all FPS games that feature a machine gun and reload animations as CoD games, but we all know that’s not true, same for Resi.

        1. I guess that a real Resident Evil game doesn’t exist, because the series old formula borrowed heavily from Sweet Home for the NES.

          1. Or the original alone in the dark. Psx is full of those games, martian gothic unification, overblood, countdown vampires, galerians, dino crisis.

        2. I think his point is that the game is not only named Resident Evil (which alone would make it a RE game), but also has features known from the previous games from the series (so it deserves this title even more).

“It’s like saying all FPS games that feature a machine gun and reload
animations as CoD games, but we all know that’s not true, same for Resi.”
But nobody calls every FPS Call of Duty. Only if it’s from the Call of Duty series it’s called a CoD game. Same here, it’s Resident Evil 7 and it’s called a RE game.

          1. You get people calling open world games as GTA clones, same happened with Diablo at the time of it’s rising popularity.

Resident Evil 7 isn’t entirely a RE game though, same with 4-6.

          1. “It has the elements of an RE game zzz -_-.”

“Some” elements, not all of them.

          2. Does it need to have all the elements? I doubt the modern CoD’s have all the elements of the previous ones.

          3. If nothing needed to have all the elements then it wouldn’t be more like the original now would it?.

If you could half a**e everything we’d be left with half of something each time.

    2. While I agree with you, I would also say Resident Evil 5 and 6 are not Resident Evil either. And for that matter, Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 are not like Resident Evil 4 at all.

In summation, Resident Evil is not like Resident Evil 😀

  2. As a guy who grew up with Resident Evil and Silent Hill, good old survival horror games where you had to use both brawns and brains, these new snippets are really effective of me. If the game actually feels good to play, I will be so happy.

  3. OOOooo.. the best part was when he was about to opening the box and the video ends and i got really really scared….not.
