Back in December 2018, we informed you about a rumoured remastered version of Sniper Elite V2. In case you weren’t aware of, the Australian Classification Board had listed Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and today its reveal trailer has been released.
Sniper Elite V2 is a third person tactical shooter set in the dying days of World War Two and is a next-generation reboot of 2005’s acclaimed original, Sniper Elite. The game weaves an explosive story of an undercover American OSS agent, stalking enemy prey across key historical locations from the Battle of Berlin in a mission to unravel the mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket programme.
According to the reveal trailer, this remastered version will feature enhanced graphics 4K and HDR Support, will include all the DLCs that were released for Sniper Elite V2, will come with new playable characters and will sport a frame-by-frame photo mode.

This is game is boring af.
You could argue it was optimized and polished but pretty good? There is barely any sniping in it, or stealth, most of the time you just move forward and shoot the respawning enemies
Yeah, some of my friends liked it too, but I couldn’t play it for more than 40 minutes. Tooooo boring for me.
The game still looks good on PC, this is just an excuse to release it again on PS4/Xbox One
But why ?
Because x-ray Shots of Shooting Hitler in the nuts never get old and now can be sharper and clearer than ever I guess.

Trash? I mean it’s nothing special, but why trash if i may?
you got a sniper rifle but all level indoors or outdoors are designed like corridors, also it has enemy spawns that litteraly spawn behind you when you try to sneak, there are so many enemies that there just isnt a away to take them out quietly, they are either too far, surounded by other enemies or there are snipers OUTSIDE the level who you cant possibly see or sneak past and they can see you.
Its complete garbage, as if they were making this game to be a linear scripted gears of war action shooter and you were supposed to take them head on by using cover or the game initially was meant to have larger maps but because the old consoles lacked memory they had to cut them down. So they removed all the alternative paths.

I don’t see its linearity being any different than many other videogames much worse than this, besides a few things you mentioned before might be because of bugs.

Since this is the gen of remasters/remakes, I hope they’ll remaster Prey (2006) and The Darkness

Can already tell they’re going to charge us for the upgrade (those who already own the game), then they whine we don’t buy the games, for what? A remaster will be released in 5y for the same price with all the DLCs and improved visuals.

I know this isn’t worthy of getting that much attention, but UBISOFT is having a “Spring Sale” on their store. And guess what, FAR CRY NEW DAWN is currently selling for less than 50% of the original listed price.
The price has been reduced, and it’s only been less than a month after the Game’s launch. I guess this should have been the actual price from the get-go, since many think NEW DAWN is just another DLC/expansion for Far Cry 5, no ?
I could be wrong though, since I don’t have this Game. But I know it’s a standalone title.

Im a fan and love this game and franchise and all, but i surely wasnt even thinking in a remaster of this game in particular, if this were a remaster of the first one, i could be happy but v2? I dont know.
