Official 4K/60fps PC trailer released for Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar has released the official PC trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. This trailer will give you a glimpse at the game’s visuals, running in 4K and with 60fps.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will bring the epic story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang to life in breathtaking new ways – with no shortage of dazzling technical enhancements that deliver deeper immersion. These include increased draw distances for better navigation, higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion for improved day and night lighting, and higher quality snow trails. Furthermore, the game will have improved reflections and deeper, higher resolution shadows at all distances. Tessellated tree textures and improved grass and fur textures will be also added for extra realism.

It’s also worth noting that the PC version will offer HDR support, as well as 4K (and higher) resolution support. The game will also support multi-monitor configurations, widescreen configurations, faster frame rates and more.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to the PC on November 5th.

  10. I feel like games have become so bland in execution that gameplay trailers are independant exclusivities nowadays… I look at these trailers and think of nothing. Isn’t it a game before being a story?

    1. Can you freaking imagine the first one done as a remake in this graphics engine and with that sort of detail and effects!? It be freaking insane!

      If they don’t do this it seems like a massive waste of money/opportunity that is just sitting on the table to be taken.

      Fingers crossed they do it, maybe with the new consoles next year it may actually happen.

          14. God Of War 4 is Garbage because it’s not a God Of War Game. I played 15% of it and never returned. It’s lazy, unimaginative & the only thing it has going for it is graphics. Combat is horrible and enemies are melee Spongey.

          29. Oh yeah, my bad. You’re right. But the input lag is pretty much unbearable to me. That’s no way to experience a game properly. And the video quality is pretty bad too. Very compressed and pixelated. But I suppose if you really want to experience the story at least, it’s relatively playable.

    1. is it? The first game was decent after you got through the extremely slow and boring start, as opposed to Gun, which was over the top from the beginning, but overall its not that great of a game, it has amazing graphics though.

      Also “ultra” grass, that’ll tank your FPS to the ground, despite all other games featuring foliage not doing as much dmg to performance.

I told all my friends who bought it on console to just wait a bit and it would come to PC, heard every excuse from “Oh, Rockstar isn’t going to make it for PC because RDR1 isn’t on the platform!” to “Yeah but you’ll have to wait so long and it’s the most cinematic game ever made, it deserves to be played!”
