I for the life of me don’t understand the Gollum game. At best that should have been a stealth tech demo. We all know the plight of Gollum, we know what he is…just such an odd perspective for a LOTR game to take. Maybe smacking fish on rocks will be fun? I guess a game surrounding the 4th Nazgul didn’t make the cut.
As a game, it doesn’t need to follow the book to the letter, just like the 90’s Lord of the Rings RPG
There’s nothing heroic about Gollum; no one’s going to want to play as him except the Highland Park shooter and a few of the anti-Semites here.
