Battlefield fans, here is something for you. YouTube’s ‘Shadi BF Veteran’ has shared a video from the alpha phase of Battlefield 6, showcasing its destruction system. This is a video that every BF should watch.
In this video, we get to see players destroy building by using a rocket launcher, mines, explosives and tanks. As you will see, the destruction is a bit exaggerated. Yes, it does not look THAT realistic. But you know what? It looks tons of fun. This is what I wanted from a new BF game and I’m glad the devs went this route.
What this means is that you will be able to destroy buildings so that you can kill the annoying campers. Moreover, it appears that the debris can cause damage. Not ALL of the debris causes damage. Still, this is a cool feature.
To be honest, this destruction system will open up the gameplay of BF. Thanks to it, players won’t feel safe inside buildings. Not only will it add to the pacing of matches, it will also allow you to kill annoying snipers.
EA will officially reveal Battlefield 6 this June at its June Showcase. If this does happen, we can assume we’ll get it by the end of 2025. That’s an educated guess, though, and nothing more. For all we know, it may slip into 2026.
Battlefield 6 seems to be closer to the atmosphere and art style of BF3. In other words, we are looking at a modern-day BF game. It won’t be a WWI, WWII, or futuristic shooter. Again, this is something that will please a lot of BF fans, as everyone has a soft spot for Battlefield 3. And, after what happened with BF2042, I’m certain a lot of people want to go back to the glorious days of BF.
Since this is a leaked video, I recommend watching it right away. EA has taken down the previous video. Thus, it will only be a matter of time until they take down this one, too. So, be sure to watch it while you still can.
If you are a Bad Company 2 or old-school BF fan, you will definitely like this video. Finally, we get a BF game with an amazing destruction system. So, I can’t wait to get my hands on it. And yes, this new BF game already looks better than BF 2042. DICE is on the right path.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

I played a ton of Battlefield 3 and 4 back in the day, and those were some seriously good times.
I picked up Battlefield 2042 for 5 euros, about a year or two after its launch, when they’d supposedly fixed most of the mess. It’s okay, I played it a bit, but I was hooked on Apex Legends at the time. Not anymore, though.
All this to ask some honest questions about the new Battlefield—you know, the one they’re calling Battlefield 6. What’s supposed to get me hyped about it?
I keep hearing it’s going back to the BF3 and BF4 vibe, but what’s actually different? Sure, destruction is cool and all, but is that it? Is that what’s going to make this game stand out so much?
What should I be excited about? Honest question.
Playing Battlefield 3 again with a new coat of paint.
That destruction has the visual fidelity that I would expect in 2010.
Is that a Minecraft mod?
Shame the debre (I Cant Sprll)Disapears.
For performance and latency reasons the debris has to be client-side, so it wouldn't necessarily appear in the same place for everyone.
Just as much a gimmick as it was when Breach did it 14 years ago.
lol this can't feel more scripted and unnatural.
I wonder, how could those houses have such a large amount of debris before the wall was even knocked down? xD 202X devs are so f*king clowns
Looks great and immersive, even tho it`s obvious it`s an early, unfinished iteration. I like how much dirt and rocks are falling from the sky after an explosion.
call of duty looks so fake and sterile compared to this.
Map remids me of karkand or seine crossing 🙂
Mmm, it's bad…
Rubble behaves like light and fake styrofoam movie props same as in 2005, they disappear soon after, and mines make way too much rubble… Nah.
