New in-engine trailer released for Marvel’s Avengers, showcasing some of the characters & their powers

Square Enix and Marvel have released a new in-engine trailer for Marvel’s Avengers. This trailer showcases some of the characters that players can select, and their powers. Moreover, it packs some brief gameplay sequences.

Marvel’s Avengers is a third-person action-adventure game that will come out on September 4th. The game promises to combine an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay.

Players will be able to assemble into a team of up to four players online and master extraordinary abilities. They will also be able to customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.

Furthermore, Square Enix plans to support the game with new Heroes and new narrative delivered on an ongoing basis.

    1. If they show too much more people will become aware that the game will most likely be shallow and empty, much like another Anthem situation. As usual, I hope im wrong and the game turns out great, I never wish for a game to fail but given track records of live service games, I have almost no hope that this game will be good.

  1. Gameplay video gave the impression that you just spam some attack button like there is no tomorrow. And each hero has its own attack animations. Time will tell i guess, but the hype just isn’t there..

  2. Well, it’ll be easy enough to just wait for a review of in-game play here and see what the game really looks like. Can’t go by cinematic footage, they’re always misleading.

  3. summed it up pretty good friend.too bad the zombies wont stop from buying it. well get more of this garbage in the coming years.
