Mafia Remake Screenshots-6

New gameplay trailer released for Mafia: Definitive Edition

2K Games has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming remake of the first Mafia game, Mafia: Definitive Edition. This short gameplay trailer will give you a glimpse at the world of Mafia, showcasing its new graphics.

Mafia Definitive Edition will be using the Mafia 3 Engine, and will release on September 25th. The game will expand its story to give insights into characters we only got to glimpse in the original game. Furthermore, the game will feature a larger Lost Heaven to explore, motorcycles as a new vehicle type, collectibles to seek out and more.

I’ve also included below another short trailer that came out last week. This second trailer features some in-engine cinematics that gamers will experience in the game.

Enjoy!

  1. If i had to say something positive (since snowflakes complained about negative comments), that soundtrack man…at least they kept that oustanding music.

    1. XD
Thanks for the positivity anyway. 🙂
P.S. I don’t mean to censor anyone. And even if I did I don’t have the right or the power to do so anyway. 🙂

      1. I think yes would be his answer. And to fix that, he can always use reshade or the nvidia filter thing. PRoblem solved!

Albeit, for medieval games, he will face a bit of a problem. Since it requires to deform the models a bit, plus make it look like paint.

        1. That medieval filter idea made me laugh more than it should.

Edit: Why not a “cave painting” filter too for games like FC Primal or Conan Exiles. XD

        1. The only thing that makes the original “darker” or “dirtier” is the awful LOD fog and texture quality from back then.

I´ve played it a couple of times since release and I can say that the colour palette of the original is very colorful. Damn, is even more coloful than Mafia 3.

  2. So far its looks quite faithful to the original, here’s hoping we don’t get any “bad” surprises!
Original Mafia is one of my fav games of all time!
