Starward Industries, a studio formed by former The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light developers, has released a new gameplay trailer for The Invincible. This new trailer gives us a first look at this new sci-fi thriller.
The Invincible is a first-person sci-fi thriller. In this game, players will assume the role of a space scientist on a hostile planet. Waking up as a space scientist on a hostile planet, you embark on a mysterious mission to find the missing crew of your spaceship. Survival will be also a matter of your correct choices, taken whilst uncovering the secrets of the planet, bigger than anyone thought.
In this game, players will assume the role of a scientist on board an interstellar scientific expedition. Players will embark on a mysterious mission to find the missing crew of their spaceship.
The game’s story will be inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s seminal sci-fi cult classic of the same name. Additionally, The Invincible will be using Unreal Engine. However, we don’t know whether it will take advantage of Ray Tracing effects or DLSS.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

So the guys who gave us the biggest disappointment in gaming in 2020 are making a new game? I’ll wait and see what happens.
It is a new studio – formed of ex developers from CDPR and Techland so not CDPR – but yes, putting ‘from the makers of Cyberpunk 2077’ on your studios resume is possibly not the best move!
“I’ll read the title and rush to comment, cause I want to look like a moron!”
they don’t even read the tittle properly.
Screams of low budget walking simulator
Agreed. The trailers so far scream Firewatch in space.
Just because its Red?
Nah,because it looks like another interactive movie walking simulator – just like Firewatch.
Indie studios making “interactive experience” titles like this is an easy way to get the attention of the fake gamers in the mainstream gaming press.
I remember when Bioshock Infinite came out all of so called gaming urinalists were crying about the game having combat. “The world of Colombia is ruined!!! 111” Of course those hacks wouldn’t like the actual gameplay.
Dude!
Why did you have to say that?!
I HATE that game with all my forces!
That’s because it is
It is.
The book has material for a bigger game.
And dont forget the blue ghostly figures, every walking sim has them.
Yaaa we need more triple A stuff from Activision and EA…yaaa
Nice strawman, i bet you also enjoy watching games instead of playing them…this is one of those.
I think it looks great.
Not even thinking about buying this day one. CDPR is going to have to prove themselves. I’ll wait for reviews.
You do realize this is not CDPR…its former employees of CDPR who founded a new studio working on this game….
Former CDPR devs also made Ruiner…and that’s fairly good game (granted, the bar for twin stick shooters is not that high), so having a connection with CDPR is not bad per se…is not good either, specially when you use CP77 as a reference point.
Buy the book.
Don’t support low effort walking sims, and devs who are changing the story to 360 degree.
180 degrees man, 180
Looks bland
One of my most anticipated game of 2022
Red is dead…
Don’t even plan to buy this game…
The book The Invincible (amazing Sci-Fi Book by Stanis?aw Lem) concerns the conflict of people with AI and showing the gap between them.
But In the trailer presented here, we hear from the developers that they are making a game about human conflict (politics, factions, cold war).
So they are changing the story in 360 degree… and it’s a another WALKING SIMULATOR.
Another game done quick, minimal effort cash grab.
The book has so big potential for a nice action-adventure game, or even light RPG.
F00ck this game, go buy the book and enjoy amazing Sci-Fi once again from the LEGENDARY Stanis?aw Lem who also wrote Solaris also amazing book, both are MUST HAVE for Sci-Fi fans.
I love both books, Solaris specially, but you’re missing one point here: The project is BASED on the book, it’s not THE BOOK turned into game. These are different things.
And since they didn’t show anything yet, I’ll keep skeptical.
thank you.
Its gonna be like the foundation tv show but with less diversity cringe.
360 degree?
No, it seems you MISUNDERSTOOD what they said. They talked a little about background of the world but it doesnt mean that they completely changed the story.
They could add another layer or conflict into it.
Quote: “main hero has a political role whether she likes it or not” which suggests that she doesnt want to be involved in politics, she is scientist. It seems that this cold war will somehow influence the story but there is NOTHING that suggest that the story is ABOUT cold war or politics.
Slow walking, slow driving, cumbersome animations of interactions with sci-fi equipment. Nothing to see here, move along.
I like the art design of the bulky retro sci-fi tools. I’ll keep an eye on it, but still need to see some real gameplay.
John, are you kidding us with these misleading post titles?
New gameplay trailer my ars3, mate!
ABSOLUTELY, nothing about this wanted me to even consider buying it, or ever even playing it. Good job, you look like folks for putting this out. It infuriates me really.
Pushing forward and occasionally using a button when prompted, is not my idea of a fun game.
They didn’t call it a gameplay trailer, so you shouldn’t call it a gameplay trailer, because it isn’t a gameplay trailer.
Stop using that title for things that don’t show gameplay!
Maybe there’s no gameplay at all.
A distinct whiff of soy from that video trailer.
Oh, great, another incomplete title! One day I’ll get that Cyberpunk 2077!
Female protagonist = no buy.
Does that apply to Bloodrayne ReVamped?
Not worth watching anything made by the devs who lied their way thru the Cyberpunk advertising.
nice aesthetics..
