Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new trailer for Battlefield 5, in which – among other things – they showcase its newly introduced battle royale mode, Firestorm. Alongside this battle royale mode, the developers share more details about the game’s single-player War Stories, multiplayer maps and modes, and its free post-launch live service, Tides of War.
In Battlefield 5, players will be able to assemble a customized collection of soldiers, weapons, and vehicles, and take them on journey through World War 2. Players can select specialized combat roles for each soldier in their Company, then get the gear to match. Players can upgrade their vehicles and aircraft – from durability to firepower.
Battlefield 5 will be among the first games that will be using real-time ray tracing. According to the developers, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080Ti should be able to run the game at 1080p with 60fps (with RTX enabled).
Battlefield 5’s open beta begins on September 6th. The Open Beta will showcase the Rotterdam map on Conquest mode as well as the Arctic Fjord map on both Conquest and Grand Operations.
The game is currently scheduled for a November 20th release!

Like 5-7 seconds of it 🙂
*yawn* Oh, that’s nice.

I realllly liked this video. But they didn’t show Battle Royale per say, they just revealed it’s “name”…
Anyways this video makes me want to play the game.
I liked how they had a blaze closing in on the map. Hopefully it’s a slow crawl and not pushed in waves.
I do like it too. I wish we would’ve seen actual gameplay.
Well yea, i meant gameplay 🙁
wow how unimpressive, graphics are fine i guess.
uhhh… ?
They’re definitely still there. Even in the new trailer.
Fair point. Perhaps it was a mistake (for some reason) to have them front and center. People really made a big deal about it..
game looks casual as f**k…
-airstrikes
-reflex sights
-next to no recoil on SMG/assault rifles
-supply drops?! wth!
-minecraft in battlefield, there is no words
and course women here, women there
women in the goddamn campaign, and in the multiplayer
it’s almost like EA is TRYING to go bankrupt at this point…
I think he’s comparing recoil to something like PUBG, which, let’s face it, has way more recoil than this.
Recoil is real. Try shooting a 3round burst at 20m and check how many bullets landed and where.
Do that again at 100m and check your target again.
Well every new start begins with fall, right?
problem is the genre is so f**king pozzed that an upstart studio like Farm51
(which has a GENERIC looking battlefield)
can make something miles more enticing than… this *shudders*
it’s a shame though, Frostbite engine is something really special
i doubt Unreal 4 for WW3 by Farm51 can provide the same level of destruction physics as the BFBC2 frostbite engine
but… it’s pretty much a cycle thing
2 decades ago it was Call of duty who dominated the FPS market
then a decade later it was battlefield
so now comes a new challanger to an already decaying industry…
will they save the genre? or merely just cash in on it’s success?
time will tell…

LOL
That BF 1942 music gives me the chills and honestly, even with that SJW propaganda this trailer is the best dice has made for BF 5.
