Need For Speed: Payback – PC version showcased running in 4K & with 60fps

NVIDIA has shared a new video, showing the PC version of Need for Speed: Payback running in 4K and with 60fps. Although NVIDIA did not reveal the specs of the PC system used to capture this footage, our guess is that a single NVIDIA GTX1080Ti graphics card was used. But anyway, Need for Speed: Payback is currently planned for a November 10th release. Enjoy!

      1. “uncompressed pixels”

Xbox X is only hardware able to render uncompressed 4K 60fps HDR picture… This is not possible on HDMI 2.0 because 4K HDR need more data to transfer than bandwidth of HDMI 2.0 used by in current GPU on PC and PS4 Pro. Current HDMI 2.0 support up to 4K HDR 30fps

For 4K HDR at 60 fps you need HDMI 2.1 which have 2x data transfer bandwidth. Xbox x is first hardware with HDMI 2.1 – read Digital Foundry article about AMD FreeSync and HDMI 2,1 in Xbox X

        1. Be a good boy and get back to polishing your Xbone while paying ‘tribute’ to your framed photographs of Phil Spencer, Satya Nadella. Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates.

      1. Nah nah, Crysis 2 is no biggie! Let me give you a better example: Crysis 1 on Very High settings, running on a native 8K monitor PLUS additionally 8x Sparse Grid Super Sampling PLUS 4x nVidia DSR (that’s 16K or 15360×8640 resolution which equals 132,710,400 pixels, 1080p is 2,073,600 pixels for comparison) 🙂 Maybe we can max out Crysis properly in 20 years from now who knows 😛

      1. Oh look, IT’s John’s secret Greek friend who, supposedly wants to have a private Skype conversation with him. Don’t need to speak Greek to understand that 😛

  1. Man this looks really good! I was a big fan of Need for Speed Rivals, all it really needed was solid customization. It looks like Payback will have everything Rivals didn’t have like 60 FPS and the hard core customization etc. Am a huge fan of Horizon 3 as well so this look like the ticket for me.

Cool, I will be getting this for sure.
