BioWare and Electronic Arts have just released the cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda. In Mass Effect: Andromeda, players will unravel the secrets of a vast galaxy, battle hostile alien threats, and build a crew. Mass Effect: Andromeda is powered by the Frostbite 3 and is scheduled for a March 23rd release. Enjoy!

Is it just me or does none of the characters shown there look cool, pretty or badass? They all just look bland, heck the “default shepphard” looks just like one of the pre created Dragon Age Inquisition males.
Yeah Bioware lost its touch after ME2
Uh, yeah, no, the Third Person Shooter trying to masquerade as an RPG that was ME2 was a joke.
BioWare died after Dragon Age: Origins (2009), not Mass Effect 2 (2010).
Fair enough, in a way 😛
welcome to modern bioware. dont worry there will be lots of lgbt stuff shoehorned in though! kids like that right?
Sheperd was a warrior, while the main characters here are “merely” explorers. I guess that’s one explanation to them not looking similarly badass.
I see they listened to our comments and took out the androgynous Shepard. God she was awful.
Worst decision. I would’ve changed that jawline asap. Fans are very particular about this franchise.
Thank God for the alien species because all human characters look generic as f*ck…
Anyone get the Star Trek vibe? The first minute felt like Star Trek (2009) them mid way felt like Star Trek: Into the Darkness, then the last shot felt like Star Trek: Beyond.
Really? I just got “generic macho man” vibes from it, coupled with “clunky animations & horribly low-resolution textures all over the place.”
Music-wise, a little bit, maybe….. We’ve got the good old Inception Horn going on in the background, after all. Though, I think Macho Man – Village People would have been far more appropriate.
Edit: Oh, yeah, I see it now. Near the end of the first minute, there’s a serious Star Trek[:] Into Darkness meets Star Trek[:] Beyond vibe.
Oh, right! Good point ^^
Animations look alright, but I was super drunk and high when I watched it.
Nausea
1:04 Not diverse enough, needs more genders.
What’s wrong with that though? This is a sci fi game and there is no thematic requirement for the game to not be diverse. Something like W3 I can understand why it lacks diversity because it’s thematic but Mass effect has ALWAYS featured a diverse squad. It’s funny how all these things were fine back then but now everyone just screams SJW at everything.
Kudos, humanity & co for making a spaceship that apparently runs on conventional energy, without any type of solar backups. No, seriously, such an important ship, &…… yeah, nice move. Pure genius, right there.
I mean, wow, seriously, that’s some really original thought you put into that storyline, BioWare.
No, seriously, what? A coalition of human + alien minds, centuries into the future still haven’t found a single long-lasting power source? Or, are they still “allergic” to harvesting nuclear power “because”?
[Harnessed/Stolen/Gathered/Consumed] Big White Ball of Light Power?
Or, if they worship it, “The God Powah!”
P.S. One big difference between these dweebs & Cortez: They didn’t have (read: need) electricity. They were “real” men ;D
every character except the blue asari looks generic.
