Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy gets a new cinematic trailer

Square Enix has released a new cinematic trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy at Sony’s PlayStation Showcase 2021 event. This trailer packs some in-engine cinematic scenes, as well as some gameplay sequences.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be a single-player game that – according to its devs – won’t have a DLC or micro-transactions. The game will be using Denuvo, and will support both Ray Tracing and DLSS.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will release on October 26th.

  1. you know i really liked the first movie, not the second though, didnt like the story, i like sci fi stuff especially when its over the top and doesnt take itself too seriously, i love farscape. So you would think i would like this but i dont. Why is that? I mean yeah the gameplay is basically a looter shooter like the previous marvel game but thats not it. There is something about it,its now woke either, something weird makes me looking at this with distrust and lack of interest, what is it? Can you help me point it out? Am i the only one who feels this way?

    1. It’s too inoffensive for its own good and a zero risk affair for Square Enix, who made sure to turn these characters into the blandest possible representation of what was already a crew of B-listers. Much like Marvel’s Avengers, this is simply riding on the back of the MCU money making machine that is already losing steam.

  2. Just a reminder that Deus Ex 5 was cancelled in favour of this bollocks and the Avengers 2020 trainwreck game. F Square Enix!
