YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ has shared some new videos, showing Killzone 2, Soul Calibur 5, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, LittleBigPlanet Karting and more running on the PC thanks to the amazing Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3.
Going into slightly more details, this is the first time that Killzone 2 goes in-game. Performance-wise, things are not looking particularly good however we are certain that the RPCS3 will be able to improve it in future releases. Still, it’s pretty incredible that the current version of the RPCS3 emulator can actually run a game like Killzone 2.
On the other hand, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Soul Calibur V and Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds are now playable in RPCS3, although there are some framerate drops here and there.
Last but not least, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd has received a 60fps patch and can be enjoyed smoothly in RPCS3.
Enjoy!

Problem with Killzone 2 and higher is that you need sixaxis gamepad otherwise you gonna be stuck just like I was, playing K2 and 3 on PC via PSNow.
Rotating a fk valve is done by using this stupid gamepad gosh…
Freaking controller gimmicks needs to die in a dumpster fire…
Or ya know pirates could stop trying to steal things so they can get them for free and just get a PS3 or just don’t play them…..Its not like your entitled to access just because you want to play them but don’t think you should need to buy the hardware or that pathetic LMFAO its preserving history..Nobody cares if you don’t think you need or have to lower yourself to play a game in the specs provided……
I choose option 3 most of the time…
RPCS3 is natively compatible with DS4 controllers, so any games that require sixaxis functions can be played!
PS Now still looks and works better than RPCS3 by miles
No, PSNow supports 60fps and PS3 games were mainly 720p anyway.
Thats you problem if you worried about higher frame rates or playing them at specs higher than intend…Your not entitled to play them just because you want to but only if you can play them for free and at specs you deem worthy…

Well of course but emutors have loads of issues, I can’t even properly play GT3 A-Spec on PCSX2 due to some tracks just rendering corruption on the whole of the screen, only way to play it is in software mode and that’s rubbish.

It’s not just that. I know about emulation. There is also sound problems, graphical glitches, random freezes. It will pass another 2 years before those games become fully playable.
Sounds like you need a new cpu fam
