It looks like an hour of gameplay from the new Ninja Gaiden game, Ninja Gaiden 4, has leaked online. This footage is probably the same one Microsoft gave to journalists for their recent previews. While it does not show the quality of the final version, it can give us a pretty good idea at how the game is coming along right now.
Ninja Gaiden 4 will combine Team NINJA’s clever combat with PlatinumGames’ fast and flashy action. You’ll battle in intense fights that look awesome and reward good skill and timing. You can use powerful moves like Bloodbind Ninjutsu to switch weapons and crush enemies, along with classic attacks like the Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow.
The legendary ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, will make his big return in Ninja Gaiden 4. He will have both brand-new weapons and abilities, as well as some fan-favorite tools from past games. You’ll be able to customize your fighting style so you can play the way you like best. The game aims to push experienced players to their limits with tough enemies and tricky battles. At the same time, new players will still get an exciting, action-packed adventure full of intense fights, cool moves, and surprising moments.
In a near-future Tokyo, a dark mist covers the city after an ancient enemy returns. The city’s only hope is a young ninja named Yakumo. He must fight his way through robot ninjas and strange monsters. Along the way, Yakumo learns he is connected to the legendary Ryu Hayabusa. To save Tokyo, he must face his destiny and break the ancient curse that’s destroying the city.
Microsoft will most likely take these videos down shortly. After all, this leaked gameplay footage we’re talking about. So, make sure to watch the videos while you still can.
Ninja Gaiden 4 will be using the Platinum Engine, and it will hit the PC on October 21st. MS has not yet revealed its PC requirements. As soon as it does, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
Since this is a PlatinumGames game, I’m a bit worried about the PC version. We all know how awful the PC version of NieR: Automata was. Or how about The Wonderful 101 Remastered? So, this will most likely be a barebones PC version, with bad KB&M controls.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
