The team behind the best WiiU emulator, CEMU, is currently working on its new 1.7.4 version and a new video surfaced, showing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running in it. This new version of CEMU will address some lighting issues that affected this new Zelda game, and will run it faster than before. Enjoy the video after the jump!

Damn, I’m halfway thru this game and they’re already showing huge improvement!
WIZARDRY!
😀
Currently using Dolphin to play Zelda Twilight Princess with ‘Insane Slug HD Texture Pack’ installed. Looks marvellous! Should keep me going until the Cemu guys have BotW working better.
The best way to play Nintendo games is on PC. lol
“The best way to play Nintendo games is on PC. lol”
It would be if wasn’t for shader caching issue on cemu. I went and bought a wiiu as simply couldn’t enjoy games with it. Dolphin on other hand is great now and if you can be bothered to buy wii mote etc then it’s brilliant.
Cemu is graet if you can play something like Mario Kart or Smash brothers and do a lap on a map or play in an arena and then all shaders are cached, but when you play something like Super Mario World 3d or say Breath of the Wild, it’s hideous as it’s constantly finding new shaders to cache and even 4k 60fps is just horrible to play, even if it looks glorious
Question: How do you get the sensor bar to work on an emulator? I have all the hardware and would like to try Skyward Sword without the jaggies.
they make ones with a usb, got one for 5bucks, it works great for dolphin. technically you dont need a sensor bar, its infrared, ive made it work with 2 little candles
Dwha!? Ahaha that’s hilarious.
I got a wireless sensor bar, on batteries from ebay, couple dollars
Physics seems to be working as intended. All it needs is optimization and we’re good to go. I expect Cemu 1.7.5 to get zelda BOTW to run better than switch or wiiu.
and at a higher rez too
Wow they already have sound working this well? Crazy.
sound has been working fine already even on older builds it was rune and collision bugs that made game playable but the video has everything working fine so 1.7.4 may have the game working from start to finish which is incredibly faster thn most expected.
Very impressed
This is advancing quite fast, colour me impressed.
Game repackers are teasing a new pc torrent theyre releasing soon, one has this as tease on their website.
L****Z**a*B*****d.
Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild looks like a perfect fit
open google and copy paste:
“Zelda Breath of The Wild CEMU Edition (PC)”
It looks like this video was sped up to make framerate appear higher…similar to the Batman scam
yeap same here! also a water cooling fan!
it still confuses me how a japanese game developer made this game, weren’t they into making grindy button mashing trash games?
I followed your suggestion and got that one. It arrived in the mail this morning 😀 Will fiddle around with setting it all up later.
no worries, if it doesn’t work from the start, just go throught the modes on the sensor bar, there are four of them, also, if it still doesn’t conect, hen you open the dolphin emulator, when you go to controllers, it should instantly connect after you press 1 and 2 button on the wiimote
Yeah, I got it working without issue.
The only problem now is my DVD drive happens to one of the ones that can’t read/rip Wii discs. And I’d rather rip my own.
Any suggestions on which drives (that are readily available) I should go for?
unfortunately i do not know, i ripped my ps2,ps1 and wii games back home on a laptop i had there, but i have long since moved since then. Sorry.
