Human Head Studios has released another small gameplay video for its sequel to Rune, Rune Ragnarok. As we’ve already said, the combat system seems a bit basic and we are pretty sure that this was Human Head’s intention as it wants to make it feel similar to the old Rune game.
Rune: Ragnarok is the sequel to the 17-year old Rune game and is set in a dangerous universe where gods, beasts, and the last remaining humans struggle to survive. The game promises to combine brutal melee combat with rich, Norse-inspired mythology.

The game is very promising. The devs are heading to the right direction IMO.
Totally agree, it has a real nice look to it. I hope the blood screen splash FX can be turned off though, I rather have the blood cake the ground and objects with some advance decal or shader work instead.
