Here is almost an hour of multiplayer gameplay footage from Call of Duty Black Ops 4

During its community reveal event, Treyarch allowed YouTubers to get their hands on the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty Black Ops 4. And below, you can find four videos showcasing almost an hour of gameplay footage from it.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will feature the traditional multiplayer mode (without wall running or thrust boost), a battle-royale mode called Blackout and three Zombie maps.

For the PC version, Treyarch is working with Beenox and Blizzard in order to optimize Black Ops 4 for Battle.net. Black Ops 4 represents the largest development team assembled for a PC title in the series, will have uncapped framerate, 4K resolution and HDR, support for ultra-wide monitors and the ability for players to extensively customize the performance and visual quality for their specific hardware.

In addition, players will be able to select from pre-set control options, including options for left-handed players, or fully customize the keyboard and mouse controls to their preference. Furthermore, Treyarch and Beenox worked closely with the team at Blizzard to incorporate Battle.net’s social systems, security, and server stability into Black Ops 4 to prepare for the release on Battle.net on October 12th.

  1. What’s the point in posting this same content and news, again and again?

The majority of the Gamers/readers, if not all, including myself, are not THAT much interested in this new COD title.

And, that’s really true to some extent. Though, some of you may disagree with me.

Without a SINGLE player campaign/story, it makes little sense for anyone to buy this game, unless they are into hardcore MP/online stuff.

COD used to have a solid SP story in the very early days, COD 1 and COD 2, but now it seems the DEVs/publishers just want to follow the crowd, given the recent increase in this so-called “Battle Royale” craze.

Don’t get me wrong though. But, they shouldn’t have totally dropped a SP campaign for this new title, provided it has a similar story/gameplay like Black OPs 2.

Even in the above Black Ops 4 MP they are using the same old copy/paste formula. Nothing innovative here, gameplay wise, imo.
    ..

    1. CoD’s single player story was boring. I haven’t even finished the last 2 campaigns. All I ever cared about was the multiplayer. I’m personally excited because this will be the first battle royale that has satisfying gun play.

PUBG feels clunky to play and Fortnite is fun because of the building and the fast paced action, but shooting the actual guns in that game doesn’t trigger any pleasure zone for me.

      1. The first 2 games, COD 1 and COD 2 were good at least in terms of story mode, IMHO.

Some prefer to call them classic WWII shooters, same like Medal of Honor, and MOH: Allied Assault.

        1. I’m NOT comparing any of those old titles with new ones. You misunderstood my point.

Obviously, if you compare them with the recent FPS titles, then the Gameplay/graphics and other elements might seem a bit bland/dull.

These old first person shooters actually redefined the WW2 theme.

        1. No brother. I play lots of games. And I play those games because they are PVP multiplayer. Since I’m actually skilled at shooters (unlike you) I happen to enjoy destroying plebs (like you) in multiplayer games.
P.S. I don’t play PUBG. I find it boring, clunky and unpolished.

          1. I suggest you move to consoles, they’re far more suited for people like you, we already got a big enough cancer spreading here on pc platform, we really don’t need more.

          2. Lmao, kiddo confirmed, move along, i’d prefer to be a virgin than a console casual tard kiddo like yourself ?

          3. Like what piece of plastic you play on or what video GAMES you enjoy has any consequence to your value as a human being. You need to re-evaluate your life, my friend.

          4. I’ll take your advice and move along. My time is indeed wasted on someone of your level. Have a good day.

          5. Good choice kiddo, my time on the other hand is never wasted, bashing casual tards and cleansing the platform i’ve grown up with.

          6. Remember that bizzysgs is the twelve year old Sony equivalent of Sp4ctr0 Spencer and that he’s also obsessed with the Destiny franchise. Nuff said!

    2. I’ve always been under the impression that the multiplayer part of CoD games were much more popular than the single player campaigns but I thoroughly enjoyed the single player campaign of COD1, COD2, MW1 and WAW. I still replay them every few years. I haven’t played any CoD games since Black Ops 2 so I don’t really know what the quality of the single player campaigns are after that but the CoD games are still among the best sellers even though sales have dropped so I guess people still like them.

      1. I really like playing “COD: World At War” often, when I get time.

Not sure why, but I really love this game. It has a decent story, good voice acting, and the graphics were also impressive at that time.

But WAW has been criticized by many though. I guess, it’s just a matter of personal choice/taste ?

        1. I don’t recall a lot of criticism about WAW. It had really good reviews from game sites back then but, as you said, it’s subjective.

I generally pick a game site and get to know the people that are vocal. The ones that I take their opinion into account I filter their likes/ dislikes/biases and it has helped me this way in games that I buy and play. Reviews are useful to look at issues with games but there’s nothing like hands on experience.

You are a pretty level-headed person so I listen to what you have to say but your taste in music is sh*t. Classic Rock is the best ; )

          1. I’m into ALL genres of music, not just extreme Black/Death/Thrash/Doom Metal.

I also like Soft Rock, GLAM metal, Hard Rock, and many other genres of music, VIKING/Folk metal, Prog Rock, Melodic Death Metal, and even pure Instrumental stuff.

It’s beyond the scope of this comment section to explain all this. FWIW, I’ve the entire collection of “Beethoven” and Mozart with me !

            Still play them occasionally.

Depends on my mood though. But, I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, EAGLES, Rush, Dire straits, just to name a few.

Heck, I even listen to ABBA when I’m in a mood, their “Dancing Queen” number.

*shocking for a MetalHead, isn’t it?, but no, as a Musician I appreciate real and pure MUSIC made from the heart**. ABBA was a very good and talented band, when it comes to the POP genre.

But obviously, most of the time I prefer listening to extreme METAL and ROCK.

          2. Your tastes are incongruous but I don’t have the depth of perception in music that you do as an artist.

But ABBA. No. Just no. They are a best forgotten chapter in Disco History.

    3. “The majority of the Gamers/readers, if not all, including myself, are not THAT much interested in this new COD title.”

I must have missed that poll we had on this website. Or are you just making things up? Anyways get lost, if you don’t like the articles don’t read them. There’s readers like me and many others who appreciate the articles.

Remember the world doesn’t revolve around you, stop trying to make it.

      1. You misunderstood my comment. I was trying to convey some other point.

This was only about Black Ops 4, not every single article which John has been posting till now.

I’ve been supporting DSOG since day one. When did I say, “the world revolves around me” ?

        1. You’re trying to stop John from posting articles about BO4 just because you’re not interested in it.

          1. Nope. Again, you are wrong. Don’t jump on any such conclusion. Who am I to stop John from posting any article ?

I’ve admitted in my OP, that this is just my own biased opinion. To quote my comment, “Though, some of you may disagree with me”.

Also this text, “The majority of the Gamers/readers, if not all”.. I never claimed each and every gamer comes under this category.

I know a lot of peeps actually LOVE playing MP/online stuff, so obviously it makes sense such articles are going to be published here on DSOG.

If you wish, I will EDIT and/or completely delete my OP, if I’ve offended you and others, including John as well.

    4. sure,,, i will cross over to Battlefield this year, COD is not more than garbage for me, at least for this tittle COD BO 4

    1. Nah. The real cancer is people like you who just like to be negative about everything they’re not interested in.

        1. I have that person blocked. The more people that do it, the better. No point in feeding a troll.

  2. Damn this is looks really bad. It’s like some kind of DLC for their previous Black Ops game.
