YouTube’s ‘MrCollectorsEdition’ has shared a brief comparison between the uncut and the censored versions of Resident Evil 2 Remake. The censored version of the game will come out in Japan and thankfully both the American and the European versions will be uncut.
Still, it’s pretty interesting that there will be a censored version of this game in Japan. Japanese gamers should not fear though as there will be both censored and uncensored versions of the game available to them.
Resident Evil 2 Remake is powered by the RE Engine and in August, DigitalFoundry claimed that the game will support NVIDIA’s RTX tech. However, NVIDIA has not included Resident Evil 2 Remake in the games that will support DLSS so we don’t know whether this will actually happen or not.
The game is currently planned for a January 25th release!

Last time (RE7) Japan actually ended up getting two different censored versions of the game (one less so than the other), so it makes me wonder.

The problem people have sjws isnt that they have stupid opinions, everyone does, the problem is that they are easily offended puritanical censorious dbags who are in a endless quest to censor everything and make it more PC and appeal to their progressive ideology. From changing Lara to look as less attractive as possible, to removing stuff from old games that sjws find “offensive” like jokes or Aida not wearing her iconic dress in re2 all the way to removing the joke “did you assume my banter” from an indie game because pre review copies given to “journalists” allowed them to find the joke “transphobic”. Not to mention how cd project and gog had to apologize for tweets. Heck even one of the companies who made pc hardware had to apologize for a pc master race meme they tweeted while specifically saying that they didnt make this. There is just no end to how much power they will exercise over everyone and censor things in the process.

As for the game you are talking about, its a joke game, it was made specifically for that audience, dont buy it, buy a “serious” game….which i find increasingly boring lately.
oh its getting there, yakuza re- release on ps4 will remove some stuff because attitudes have changed, they removes the main character smoking a cig and a trans character that the player runs away from calling “it”.
