At PAX East 2020, miHoYo presented a new demo for its Zelda: BOTW-inspired JRPG, Genshin Impact. Thus, IGN has shared a video, showing twelve minutes of brand new gameplay footage from it.
In Genshin Impact, players transform themselves into a mysterious character, take possession of magical powers and embark on grand open world adventures to unveil wonders and their own destiny.
The game will feature the fantasy, lush, beautiful open world called Teyvat. Moreover, it puts players into the shoes of an enigmatic figure called “The Traveler”. The Traveler awakes on the shore, with the sole purpose of finding their long-lost kin.
Genshin Impact promises to feature a unique combat system thanks to the impressive legacy of miHoYo’s earlier titles. The new gameplay mechanics are based on elemental properties and interactions, allowing The Traveler to utilize different element attacks and magic in varied combinations to deal devastating blows to enemies.
Unfortunately, there isn’t currently any ETA on when this new JRPG will come out.

Can it really be a JRPG if it’s by chinese developers?
JRPG is a category of RPGs. It does not mean that it was developed by a Japanese company.
Careful, those are fighting words, they could easily trigger a rain of autism unlike anything we’ve ever seen on this site.
I don’t think you’ve seen some of the autism on this site from a few years back

No it’s not a JRPG. John probably does not know that the developers are Chinese.
I expect him to ban you for disrespecting him on his website.

sh*t game
Into the trash it goes, just like Code Vein.
LMAO 3 dislikes, enjoy this soulless, uninspired, lazy cash-grab anime shiit weeaboo faqqots.
you are the one to talk, how is this souless?
It looks like a brain dead copycat with nothing innovative or ANYTHING meaningful to the video game industry, just to appeal to weeaboo f ucktards who buy any anime-themed shiit.
not many zelda clones around and in a world of hyper realism and puritanistic feminism, look at outer worlds for example id rather have weeaboo stuff and pretty enviroments.
Let’s make it 4 dislikes, shall we ?
nice game
Finally a Corona-Chan videogame.
Not even funny, just plain cheap !
F*k you.
Inspired or copied? There’s a lot of Zelda in this game.
is this the game that bricked people’s playstations and is now coming to switch or was that something else
this is a closed alpha so no.
just looked it up and it actually is what I was thinking of, but I misremembered it as bricking a playstation when it reality someone just got pissed off at it for ripping off BotW and smashed their PS4 in protest lol
Oh yes completely the same.
It’s looking good, I will check it when it around to launch
