GameInformer has released a video, showing ten minutes of new gameplay footage from the upcoming Blair Witch game. This video will give you an idea of how the game plays, though it may contain some spoilers (so we suggest avoiding it if you want to avoid any of them).
Blair Witch is a first-person, story-driven psychological horror game based on the cinematic lore of Blair Witch. The game is created by the minds behind the critically acclaimed Layers of Fear, and promises to allow players experience first-hand the toll that fear can take on the mind in an original story inspired by the cinematic lore of Blair Witch.
It’s also worth noting that players will have to navigate their way through a cursed forest that warps and distorts both time and space with just their loyal dog Bullet by their side, and that the game will feature combat mechanics (something really new for a Bloober game).
The game is currently planned for an August 30th release.
