Age of Empires 4’s closed beta took place earlier this month and below you can find a video showing more than 90 minutes of gameplay footage from it.
This video will give you an idea of how the game plays in its current beta state. Since this is a leaked video, we suggest watching it while it’s still available as Microsoft will most likely take it down.
Age of Empires 4 will put you at the center of epic historical battles that shaped the world. Featuring both familiar and innovative new ways to expand your empire in vast landscapes with stunning 4K visual fidelity, the game aims to bring an evolved real-time strategy game to a new generation.
The game will have 4 distinct campaigns with 35 missions that span across 500 years of history from the Dark Ages up to the Renaissance. Additionally, the game won’t have any microtransactions. Unfortunately, though, AOE4 won’t support mods at launch. Instead, Relic plans to add modding support in early 2022.
Age of Empires 4 releases on October 28th!
