A few hours ago, we shared the first leaked information for Battlefield 5’s upcoming battle royale mode, Firestorm. However, it appears that its first gameplay/tutorial trailer has also been leaked and you can watch it below.
According to the previous leak, Firestorm will feature three modes: solo, duo (2 player teams), squad (4 player teams) with a player maximum of 64 per match. All typical Battlefield classes will be present/playable, there will be a separate ranking system, players will parachute from a plane into the war zone and your hud will show an altimeter during the free fall / flight.
DICE’s Global Community Manager has commented on these recent leaks, claiming that there’s a risk that some of the things that players see/read in these early leaks may be different from the things that will be offered in the final version. As such, take these leaks with a grain of salt.

After all they did miss out on the TCG craze and the Hero shooter craze (even if Respawn essentially put it in APEX) and the Moba Craze. EA is 1 for 4 on the chasing the money. I guess now that Loot boxes carry the current stigma they can’t rely solely on the FIFA and Madden money anymore.
Apex definitely is the peak of the “hero shooter” genre. It counts. So that’s two “genres” EA dominate with one game. What’s TCG?

I typically hate BR but Apex Legends is the best sh*t I’ve played in a loooong time.
Apex is awesome but is born as BR, BF is a “huge scale tactical shooter” imo.
BFV is a sh**ty Battlefield game, probably the worst of them all, and Im not seeing Firestorm doing much for the game past the first week.
I didn’t bother watching most of the promotional material for BF1 or this and I’m also not going to bother watching this particular trailer. Nobody will switch from Apex or Fortnite to “Battlefield Battle Royale” when there’s a big entry fee and the rest of the game was received poorly. DICE lost it years ago. Battlefield Bad Company 2 was the last good game they made.

Battlefield V BR…meh..BFV atm is infested with cheaters. Imagine now with that crap br mode.. Uninstalled it after 270h, played again old good BF4 and weird, nearly a week now,not a single cheater.
