First gameplay trailer released for Hot Wheels Unleashed

Milestone has released the first gameplay trailer for Hot Wheels Unleashed. This gameplay trailer will give you an idea of what you can expect from this upcoming arcade racing game.

In Hot Wheels Unleashed, players can get ready to drift, boost, jump and crash on Hot Wheels’ iconic orange tracks in various single-player game modes. Gamers can also challenge friends in multiplayer races, both online and offline.

Hot Wheels Unleashed offers players the opportunity to drive the cars as if they were playing with the die-cast toys. The gameplay includes adrenaline-filled races, and an extended choice of Hot Wheels vehicles with different attributes. Furthermore, players can customize levels with different skins, and jaw-dropping tracks set in everyday-life locations with special track pieces and interactive items. The game also features a revolutionary Track Editor. This editor promises to enable players to customize tracks in any game environment and share them with the game’s community.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is coming to PC in September 2021.

Enjoy!

    1. to me it looks pretty much cgi like actually. They have to improve background that is blank, but everything inside the track is awesome in terms on graphics rendering.

    2. Agree. No sense of speed at all and the car handling looks like a boat… maybe with some power-ups it can come close to the old Re-volt, but I seriously doubt it coming from Milestone.

  1. Looks amazing honestly. Fairly realistic drift physics mixed with some kind of air control (Rocket League like) and the track is promising, considering they said you could do anything the devs can do when it comes to track building.

      1. Yeah, i was mostly talking about the classic ones. This Hotwheels new one looks fine visually, and the driving looks serviceable…have to play it myself to be OK with the drifting. I like mostly the level of detail and the sense of scale (granted, with only a single track showed is hard to judge)

  2. Damn, this might be the time I get back into racing games again. Last time I was hooked on one, was back when Burnout Paradise released, and that was way back in 08…

Just gotta hope it doesn’t come with a stupid BP, because BP’s put me off entirely.

  3. re-record the car sounds…should be kid voice actors humming and rumbling for the car engine. These authentic sounds are breaking the hot wheels immersion..
