Bethesda has released the first gameplay trailer for Arkane Lyon’s DEATHLOOP. This gameplay trailer will give you an idea of what you can expect from this new FPS. According to the publisher, this is an innovative first-person shooter from the studio behind the Dishonored franchise.
DEATHLOOP aims to continue?Arkane’s?signature gameplay design, challenging gamers to play their own way. The game will also come out in Holiday 2020.
As Colt, players are trapped in a time loop on the enigmatic island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. The only chance for escape is to break the loop by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. However, lurking in the shadows is rival assassin Julianna. Julianna has her own equally powerful abilities and weapons, and plans to protect the loop by assassinating Colt, and restarting the cycle.

Gameplay needs more variation, this looks exactly like Dishonored.

It’s a short trailer, i guess there are a lot more things to see in the final game, in terms of pure gameplay, Arkane never disappointed me personally

Arkane have become the masters of immersive sims, so I am absolutely excited about this.
However, I was also completely dissapointed when they reused the Blink ability.
Gameplay is so deep and varied in their titles, I would’t worry to much : D
their previous games were all atmospheric, this looks generic and too colorful.
Off topic : Hitman Absolution free on GOG, not the best Hitman, but definitely good and has it charm (coming from a guy who played them all)
considering how the servers are shut down and you cant use the contracts mode might as well get a pirated version, thats how bricked this game is and the moronic devs keep using this server side unlock system till this day, they learned nothing. If pirates get a better version than the original and you alos dont have access to the mp bits that pirates dont, whats the point? What a major screw up.

The unlocks work offline for Absolution without any problem, not like the reboot episodes, the only missing thing is the Contracts mode and the the achievements related to this mode, otherwise everything’s fine
there are no unlocks in absolution every mission starts you with predetermined equipment.
There’s a hideout in main menu, you can unlock weapons in the campaign and offline but only for the defunct Contracts mode, the absence of weapon selection is consistent i guess since 47 is on the run in Absolution

That doesn’t bother me that much, Contracts mode was meant to be an online feature, it was closed because people stopped playing it, it’s not as controversial as the Online requirements for the reboot episodes because it’s not seamlessly tied to the offline/campaign mode, and like i said weapon selection absence is done on purpose for the campaign

Buying it after 1 year of course, to wait out the patches, drivers and DLC, but you get the point.

They removed Denuvo from Prey already.. Go to GOG and check it out.
