First gameplay footage for Warcraft-y RTS, Iron Harvest

KING Art Games has released the first gameplay video for its upcoming real-time strategy game, Iron Harvest. According to the team, Iron Harvest will go back to the roots of Company of Heroes and Warcraft to combine classic real-time strategy with modern technology in a unique setting.

KING Art Games has also launched a Kickstarter campaign for Iron Harvest, seeking to raise $450K in the next 31 days.

The game will feature three playable factions with over 40 unit types and 9 heroes, three singleplayer campaigns with an overarching story (21 missions), Singleplayer & Co-op skirmish matches, Singleplayer & Co-op challenge maps, Competitive multiplayer (ranked matches, seasons) and free DLC & updates.

  1. As a kickstarter backer and long time veteran of WC, Company of Heroes, Sudden Strike, Commandos, Rise of Legends, and more, what are you talking about?

    This isn’t remotely like Warcraft except base building. The game is inspired for a fact by CoH and Silent Strike/Commandos. It’s not warcrafty. WC3 is an RPG. This is a strategy game.

    1. How the hell is Warcraft 3 and RPG? Warcraft 3 is an RTS with RPG elements in it through leveling up hero characters. What are you talking?

    it looks like a CoH clone with added gigantic robots
