As we reported in September 2022, EA Motive has been working on an Iron Man game. And from the looks of it, an early gameplay trailer has been leaked online. EA has confirmed the leak, meaning that this is a real trailer for the game, and not an AI-generated fake trailer.
Marvel’s Iron Man is a single-player third-person action-adventure game. And, sadly, this is all we know about it. Since then, EA has not revealed any additiona details about it.
As I’ve said, this is an early gameplay trailer. This means that it contains a lot of placeholders. Furthermore, its visuals are not representative of those for the final version. So, make sure to keep these things in mind.
The interesting thing here is the gameplay sequences we get to see. The flight mechanics seem great, and they reminded me of Anthem. After all, that was one of the best features of Anthem, so it does not surprise me that this Iron Man game shares some similarities with it.
The combat mechanics, on the other hand, did not impress me. They are fine, but they are not something you haven’t seen in all the other hero games we’ve gotten these past few years.
For what it’s worth, there is no ETA for when Marvel’s Iron Man will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Finally, since this is a leaked trailer, I suggest watching it while it’s still available. EA may take it down very soon. Take-Two has done the exact same thing with the leaked videos for GTA 6.
