    1. Well what do you expect them to do? Place a kb on his lap and awkwardly navigate his thigh with a mouse?

      1. Yes, it’s something called a desk, you heard of that? Epic Games use one in their Unreal Tournament videos with a keyboard and mouse on it because you know, FPS PC game how it’s meant to be played.

  1. The glory kill system is terrible, instant gratification for console users. If I get this for the SP I’ll bet turning that off, thankfully they provide an option for it so can’t b*tch about it much. Single player options look good though, appreciate the amount of configuration.

    1. yeah i dont want flashing demons so i will turn it off. might do a run with it on one day for something new though.

    2. notice how low on ammo you are, notice how killing them throws ammo and health, you need it, it is a major pat of the gameplay.

      1. Yeah, that is bullsh*t, it’s like in The Division as well, if you kill enemies and you are on low ammo or out of assault ammo it drop that ammo for you. Don’t want the casuals to get frustrated with having to find ammo or conserve it.

  2. I answered your question, it’s wasn’t childish, like I said, Epic Games use a keyboard and mouse in their videos on UT while they are presenting and talking about the game, so your “awkwardly navigate” is an invalid argument. We know this Doom is targeted at console halo, COD players anyway, tell us something we don’t know.

Yes dumbing down yet another game for casuals just for a cash grab is bad and using a well established name is bad, not sure why you think it’s a good thing.

  3. You can’t turn off bad game design. And Doom 95 on ps1 has cut/different levels and isn’t as good as it is was on the PC and the difference with that was it was first a PC game that was ported to consoles later not a game built for gamepads like this new doom. It’s Unreal Tournament 3 all over again.

    1. I dont think people even know what they’re complaining about when they say doom has been/was consolized.

What is it about doom, what specific feature, what characteristic and besides being on pc first, is about doom that is so specific to the pc platform? Mods?

If anything the originals were just as suited to consoles due to not having to aim up or down. A controllers game dpad was perfect for it, no different to the arrow keys on pc.

        1. Ive been referring to the SP only this whole time, that would explain our little exchange…mp yeah…it not acceptable by any standard.

  4. You must have a reading problem, I was replying to your non argument about “awkwardly navigate his thigh with a mouse”, I said nothing about a controller so please, learn to read, also, you clearly haven’t played Original Doom, this Doom is like Halo and COD.
