  1. yup that’s a downgrade
they seem to have butchered the 2019 engine on the pretext of unification and multiplatform development (mobile, etc.) and also …Soap it seems

      1. I might be mistaken but I think I read something somewhere about it today
doesn’t change the fact that there’s been a downgrade
        MW2019 engine was amazing
Still I’ll reserve my judgement until after I see the game in motion

      1. That happens with the vast majority of games, this won’t die though, because it has crossplay by default with 2 console generations.

    1. Funniest thing is that Modern Warfare 2 was also the first game with a Steam requirement.

    2. Hope they bring MW’19 and BO:ColdWar as well to Steam.
If the prices are low enough might grab ’em for the steam library.
Dont want Vanguard trash though … let it die @ BattleNet.

    3. itll be good to grab on the cheap someday, but $70 is too much for a new CoD game or any pc game for that matter and i hope it does not set a new precedent for the platform..

  2. This looks dumb as sht. The visuals are bland as sht too. And that rap music since Gears of War 3 lmao. Those days are long gone. Activision dumb fks. Hopefully things will be better when Microsoft owns them.

  3. The song does not fit whatsoever with the trailer. lmao Had to watch it muted. Compare this trailer, to the OG MW2 trailer, with Eminem’s song.

Disappointing, ngl. MW19 was honestly good, but this is a downgrade in every way possible.

    1. “Compare this trailer, to the OG MW2 trailer, with Eminem’s song”
Also trash, thought it was a fan trailer at the time, unfitting music is bad enough, but pushing unfitting music to promote Universal Music Group trash is even worse.

      As bad as AMVs

  4. It’s actually weird/funny to see 2 soundtracks being played in this video. After the initial RAP song, they have included a METAL track as well, from thrash Metal band METALLICA.

The track is this, “”Wherever I May Roam::. But anyways, both these songs sound like they are out of context for this reveal trailer. Doesn’t suit the gameplay.

        1. You mean the 2009 FPS ? If Yes, then this game was awesome.

A lot of METAL tracks in this though, and also voice acting from OZZY, Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, and more. On top of that, we can also unlock additional 107 heavy metal songs by dozens of artists to play in-game. Including songs from BLACK METAL artists as well, apart from Heavy Metal, Thrash, Gothic etc.

          This game was addictive.

    1. they want the nog audience and the whites who still like rock music and not minority jungle beats and mumble rapping

    2. They want every audience possible, that’s the issue.
Always is with these companies and their shoddy products.

      1. Yes, this FPS game is on my list. I think it’s coming this September. Looks pretty dope, to be honest. Played the demo version.

Also contains METAL soundtracks as well. My favorite Swedish Melodic Death metal band ”Dark Tranquillity” also has a track.

    3. It’s Metallica with some niggatries! While I thought the song was sh1tty enough, they’ve just proved me wrong.
      LOL

  8. Visually looks like a game from years ago..COD has been dead to me since ~2009 (Black Ops / World at War were the last ok entries).
Haven’t played the MW 2019, but some missions in SP looked cool, like that house raid one.
It is just plain ret4rd3d how the sheep masses keep buying this trash!!

  9. I just read an article that said Activision is going to put the game on Steam but it will be $70 for the standard edition.

      1. Black Ops II is the last COD for me and you really need to play it, it’s a pretty solid game.

    1. MW’19 was actually good. Step in the right direction.
Much better than the theme park ride CoDs like in Black Ops III and 4. (they still can’t match Black Ops 1)
MW’19 graphics looked really good as well in 2019 and still does now.
This MWII trailer looks a bit off. A bit downgraded even.
Which is not supposed to be since they’ve been working on it for 3 years and its Infinity Ward, CoD’s best studio.
      Let’s wait for gameplay footage.

      1. They say that they’re pushing AI advances, and maybe the game has larger scale, but it’s still crossgen, that could explain a graphical downgrade.

The only thing that looked weird to me is closeups of character faces, they’re actually worse than MW19.

I watched the reveal trailer of MW19 and overall the graphics are the same or slightly better in MWII.

The PC version of MW19 on max settings + RT shadows looks significantly better than its reveal trailer. I expect something similar here.

    2. I’m not a COD fan and I havent played MW 2019, however I’m very impressed with graphics in this trailer. IMO character models and lighting on their faces looks totally insane (you can see every skin pore). Also water rendering looks very good.

I’m curious why you think graphics in trailer looks dated.

  11. 70 euro on steam. What a fat joke. For that price i buy a full box set of a anime series, and get more than 6 hour single player.

  12. Hated the bg music/song choice for this trailer.
The MW’19 reveal trailer with a sombre music was soooo much better!
They reserve these tunes for chaotic MP trailers. Not for the actual reveal trailer.
This trailer seems kinda hastily put together. Looked kinda goofy
Has a more Black Ops’ post-release low-budget trailer vibes than a serious MW tone and vibes we see in MW reveal trailers.
    Wasn’t hyped.
And Soap’s face looks so disappointing … 2009’s Soap model still looks better.

  13. Can’t you just speak Arabic to each other and spare the rest of us from reading your dog shet comments?

    1. If you think that Latex’s comments are dog sh*t then why do you read them and reply to them? You don’t have to but yet you do. The only reason that I can think of is you want to change Latex. That isn’t going to happen.

  14. Awesome trailer, one of the best I have seen in a long time, however I want to see real gameplay, because graphics looks a little bit too good.

  15. Looks like dog sh*t, compared to the previous one. And the music… Almost puked my lunch! A pop song from Metallica mixed with some nigg4 stuff. Worst sh1te I’ve ever listened.

  16. Now they are recycling the names of the games as well? Wasn’t modern warfare 2 released in 2009?
