It took over a decade for Diablo to arrive on consoles. Sony fans won’t be experiencing the first two Witcher games. Thanks to mods PC fans are still talking about new things in Skyrim even to this day. And the most shocking thing is that more and more Japanese game companies are porting their once console exclusive titles to the PC.
It hurts when a game is delayed for the PC, even more so when they are delayed for a year or two but it fits the PC for some reason. Games and hardware simply grows on the PC, they don’t just sprout out like magic beans.
Just look at how many games have been cancelled because they didn’t achieved their target sales number in the opening weeks. Compare that to PC games that are still being sold everywhere. Old games, even the less successful ones, are still being bought all the time.

Have you not heard? Yoshida confirmed that ps4 will have less AAA games because they are more expensive to make than ever before and it will have mostly indies.

In the last generation, new ips became a luxury, everything was milked, horror and stealth genres died and tactical games like ranbow six were dumbed down not to mention the last tomb raider.
All that happened becuase games are too expensive to make and thus they need as many sales as possible, now that the next gen trashboxes are basicly weak pcs, consoles will NOT have games that are not available on pc, all multiplatform games will be released on pc as well as consoles in order to make money.
