  1. great graphics but i only hope it’ll work properly this time on pc

2014 been worst year for pc a lot unoptimized game hope this change some thing–(i know its ubisoft maybe they deliver what they promise this time)–

    1. I predict it will be a stuttering mess which will get fixed some time around two months after release. And that’s after three DLC’s.

      1. With this entry being next gen only, I doubt there will be even a remote bug or failure that hinders the PC version. Little to no problem will come with it since all the platforms it’s on are X86-64. They even committed to releasing the PC version on the same day as consoles, you gotta give them that. Wait til release then judge outline of its future.

        1. That’s what we thought with Watch_Dogs, too. Ubisoft said the game doesn’t run on PC as well because it was created with the consoles’ unified memory architecture in mind.

If they’ve built Unity from the ground up for consoles then ‘porting’ the game to PC will cause lots of problems that may never be fixed. They need to have the PC in mind from the beginning instead of just an afterthought, which is Ubisoft’s status quo.

I can’t remember one PC game from Ubisoft that wasn’t a direct port of a console game.

          1. Can’t say I do either, but I thought they said they’re developing each version with extra care to their strengths this time instead of straight up ports going on. Guess we’ll find out when it releases.

            — Might and Magic, Settlers, Anno series.

  2. Well like I said from what I seen of AC5 and FarCry4 Nvidia themselves has done a lot of work with Ubisoft to make the PC version stand out in both visuals as well as optimized performance. As for a FPS lock I can’t say because all I was able to do with see game play. No Afterburner, ect ect software to show FPS but everything looked smooth.

But if you don’t believe in Ubisoft anymore like I been for a while now it’s best to wait for proper reviews like on this site.

      1. well Nvidia has seemed to do wonders with Konomi as of late dealing with PC optimization. . CastleVania games have been well optimized even with in-game added PhysX. As well as Metal gear rising:
        Revengeance.

And with FarCry4, AC5, and The Division using the new Gameworks SDK I think when it comes to optimization Nvidia does not want to look bad anymore because of poor programming on ubisofts part.

edit: I also believe the 720p is on purpose for some crazy reason… Could be a turn around for ubisoft. Instead of making it look perfect then turning to garbage on the final version they are making it look garbage just to shock us with the final version? eh eh odd marketing but could be a shocker.

        1. They can’t do nothing about the CPU part and Ubisoft can only do so much with DX11 anyway and that’s the main problem, not the GPU side.

          1. Because it’s not what NVIDIA do, it’s that simple. Ubisoft would have to work with Intel or AMD or closer with Microsoft to get the best out of DX11 MTR.

If Ubisoft used Mantle they wouldn’t have an issue with cores not being used in their game, rather than asking NVIDIA to do driver hacks and make it run better.

          2. ubisoft is working on something like mantel for ac unity, it’s a good thing because it’s not exclusive for one vendor like mantel, it works on all platforms, but we must wait and see how it turns

  3. so far it’s a best looking game in 2014 to me (i like new combat system too) if they don’t downgrade it, if it runs ok. but we will see
