Armored Core 6 Showcase 2023 presents new gameplay and our first look at its PvP Mode

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware held their Showcase 2023 event for Armored Core 6, in which they showcased new gameplay from the game, as well as a first look at its PvP Online Mode.

In Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, players will assemble and pilot their own mech with 3D maneuverability to move freely through three dimensional fast-paced missions. Players will take on difficult challenges and overwhelm their enemies with dynamic movements that make full use of ranged and melee combat.

According to its Steam store page, the game will be using the Arxan, Easy Anti-Cheat DRM. And, from the looks of it, this highly anticipated action title will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Bandai Namco will release this new Armored Core game on August 25th. Here are also its final PC system requirements.

Enjoy this first official look at the PvP Mode for Armored Core 6, and stay tuned for more!

  1. i remember fighting cowboy, he is like a failed lets player, he was playing far cry primal when it came out and he sucked, like doesnt know how to use a controller, lmao he sucks on this video as well, i also remember him from the long threat on twitter on how he has white privilege and it was so cringe. I hate how this guy became the main voice for armored core, as a “armored core veteran” which is something i dont even believe considering how much he sucks, he must be a veteran of the last 4 that were easy, no way these guy is goo at last raven on ps2. Honestly i hate the constant camera shifting, the mechs goes in front the crosshair all the time, which is why they did it, how about not reinventing the wheel and keeping the crosshair above the mech like old third person games? God devs are stupid these days.

LMAO he dies and restarts from checkpoint with all the armor bar and repair kits restored, these things did not exist in the old armored core games, can you say dumbing it down for casuals?

I skimmed through pvp and i landed on fightingcowboy getting his mech blowing up, AAHAHAHHAAHAH

    1. To be fair, old Armoured core missions were short af, so of course there was no healing in them. I agree on Cowboy though, he’s a total fruit. During COVID he was saying anyone who wasn’t vaxed should lose all their rights and I kept calling him on it, p**sy banned me for simply disagreeing with him, I wasn’t even being a d*ck.

The PvP looks pretty horrendous, surprised it’s just huge, empty circular maps with no cover or anything, wtf? I’ve loved everything since Demon’s Souls by From, but looks like I might bounce off this one, not grabbing me at all.

      1. my god he is even a bigger cuck that i previously thought, is it mandatory to be a boolicker to be promoted by those companies? But what i am saying, of course it is , so you can be a good cooperate slave and you can get excited for the next corporate trash and buy it.

    2. Fighting Cowboy is currently making videos for Bandai Namco on how to defeat bosses in Elden Ring on their official channel. He clearly has some kind of deal going on with them. More influencer garbage.

      1. by the way that guy when on a long rant on twitter why he has white privilege, you have to be a cuck to be accepted by this fake pretentious corporate trash industry.

  2. How nice of them that they show us PVP on LAN… Let’s be real it’s FromCrapsoft so REAL PvP over internet will suck af, just like in all they previous games.

  3. Looking great, but changing loadout mid mission is a terrible move.
The whole point is that you’re going back to the factory once you start/finish said mission.

This affect gameplay and immersion terribly.

  4. You know what this game is lacking?
    PARTICLES!
It need more particles on the screen!
Now serious, I’m kinda excited about this one, I wanna see if these moröns can create a story.
