9 minutes of in-engine footage from the Unreal Engine 5-powered free-to-play battle royale game, Off The Grid

In May 2022, we informed you about a new cyberpunk battle royale game using Unreal Engine 5, called Off The Grid. And today, we can share a new video from it, showcasing nine minutes of cinematic in-engine footage.

Off The Grid will support fights with 150 players in PvP (Player Vs Player) skirmishes, as well as PvE (Player Vs Environment) storyline missions using the same map inhabited by other players in real-time. According to its description, players have the freedom to control how the hard-boiled story unfolds, with each decision made directly impacting everyone’s gameplay.

“Core to the experience and deep narrative structure is the unique way in which players can craft, customize, and trade their in-game items with each other. In OTG, the lines between hero and villain become blurred as players fight to survive the covert corporate battles of the future.”

There is currently no ETA on when this game will come out.

Enjoy!

  1. Gaming is dead for me now. I didn’t played a single game released this year. Installed Hogwash Legacy. that’s it.

    1. ure just burned out. take a break, or look in some less mainstream games. or some older ones, or some emulation.

its new zelda, metroid remake which runs great on emu, there are decent indies and so on. personally diablo 4 beta brought me to child memories of d1-d2 and i had more fun in weekend betas than in every AAA game in recent history lol, maybe except elden ring

    2. Just because you lost your passion and you are off your antidepressants does not mean we all go through that too.
I am still having a blast and I enjoy things. If I dont like gaming anymore I leave and find a new hobby instead of crying about it on every article.
      Pathetic.

    3. Yeah I know what you mean, but there’s a silver lining here. The less games there are that you find interesting, the more time to you have to invest in other more worthwhile activities. Activities such as getting fit (or more fit if you’re already in shape), learning a new skill and shitposting on the internet.

  2. Reminds of the colour pallette of the Xbox 360 era. Ie most games striving for cosmetic realism were shades of brown and grey.

  3. the cinematic are nice…. but i’m a bit scarred for the gameplay… it’s just seem like a battle royal

  4. This is really interesting, You’re a very skilled blogger. I’ve joined your feed and look forward to seeking more of your magnificent post. Also, I’ve shared your site in my social networks!

  5. I’m often to blogging and i really appreciate your content. The article has actually peaks my interest. I’m going to bookmark your web site and maintain checking for brand spanking new information.

  6. Bebeklerin neredeyse yar?s?, ciddi bir hastal?ktan ba??ms?z olarak, arada s?rada kusar. Bebeklerde kusma neredeyse her zaman bardaktan bo?an?rcas?na ç?kar?r. Ancak bebeklerde ve küçük çocuklarda ard? arkas? kesilmeyen kusmalar her zaman ciddiye al?nmal?d?r. Aksi takdirde, çok kereler kusma sonucunda vücut dokusunda su kayb? ve kuruma (eksikoz) meydana gelir.

  7. When he does the air jump summersault over the red beams I noticed he could have just simply walked around them. lol

  8. If games nowadays turn out bad even after showing gameplay previews, imagine how much faith in a game you can get from a cinematic trailer… None.

    1. John was too busy with both hands on the d*ck to figure this. Dude can’t handle UE5 addiction.

    2. John posted this with both hands on the dike, so he wouldn’t know! Lad has some sort of deep passion with UE.

  9. Great and all, but is it another jump shooting arcade twitch shooter? Or a strategic more akin to ARMA realism? The market is flooded with too much of that arcade garbage.

  10. why do you morons keep coming to this website if you hate Unreal Engine so much? Oh that’s right, because no one else will listen to your bullsh*t and we all know you still play Unreal Engine games. Get over yourselves, losers!

        1. Wow. The “i” in my original post got replaced with the pipe character (|) by the censorship bot.
