IGN has shared a new video, showcasing 7 minutes of raw gameplay footage from the new MK game, Mortal Kombat 1. This video shows off some fights and yes, it includes some fatalities.
Mortal Kombat 1 will have both a multiplayer mode and an immersive story campaign. In the story mode, players will fight through a brand new story featuring their favorite Mortal Kombat characters like they’ve never seen them before.
Now what’s interesting here is the cameo fighters who will assist you in your fights. To be honest, this feature reminded me of the classic NEO-GEO 2D versions of The King of Fighters. Moreover, the cameo fighters have their own fatalities (in this video, we see Sonya from the original Mortal Kombat performing her “kiss of death” fatality).
Warner Bros will release Mortal Kombat 1 on September 19th. You can also find here the game’s official PC system requirements.
