Here is 25 minutes of gameplay footage from BATTLETECH’s Single Player Campaign

Harebrained Schemes has released a new video, showing 25 minutes of gameplay footage from BATTLETECH’s single player campaign. The game currently targets a 2018 release and this video will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.

BATTLETECH is a turn-based tactical mech combat game that promises to feature explosive tactical ‘Mech combat. It will also come with deep Mercenary management gameplay, a rewarding story campaign, and addictive PvP multiplayer.

Harebrained’s title will be the first turn-based tactical BattleTech game on PC in more than 20 years. Set in the year 3025, the universe is trapped in a cycle of perpetual war, fought by militarized noble houses utilizing huge, mechanized combat vehicles called BattleMechs.

Paradox will publish this new turn based mech game in 2018.

  1. How I wish we had an RTS version of Battletech, or at least a new 3rd/1st person version. I find, the more focus on detailed visuals, but nailing them to being turn based, breaks the immersion for me.

    1. I mean, Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries should fill that void somewhat next year. Personally I’m fine with the turn based combat since that’s a preference of mine and is what Harebrained does best.
