YouTube’s ‘jackfrags’ has shared a video, showing twelve minutes of brand new gameplay footage from Star Wars Squadrons. Star Wars Squadrons is a first-person space dogfighting game set after the events of Return of the Jedi, and I’m pretty sure that most Star Wars fans will find this video quite interesting.
In Star Wars Squadrons, players take control of starfighters such as the X-wing and TIE fighter. Players will be able to customize loadouts and cosmetics, divert power between weapons, shields, and engines, while immersing yourself in the cockpit.
The game will include both single-player and multi-player campaigns. Furthermore, the game will support cross-play between PC, Xbox One and PS4. Additionally, the game will be using the Frostbite Engine.
Star Wars Squadrons releases on October 2nd, and here are its official PC system requirements.

Looked okay to me in that video. Very likely best played with a HOTAS controller.
If it can be played in VR then it could be superb. If not then that’s a deal-breaker for me.

The only element of the New Trilogy deserving scorn is the promotion of paraphilia at the end of Episode IX.
A lot of people who hate VIII misunderstand it; Johnson was not saying to “kill the past.” His main character was saving the Jedi texts and tradition.

I just wanted a full developed and long single player campaign, like X-Wing / Tie Fighter. But I get the felling that it’s going to be a very short one.
Usually EA games have good graphics at least. Not the case with this one. Looks very average and boring.
