In 2020, Square Enix released a PC trailer for Final Fantasy XVI, hinting at the game coming to our platform. Since then, Square Enix has not officially mentioned this PC version. Until today. Square Enix has just released a brand new patch for Forspoken. According to the release notes, the February 21st Update packs some bug fixes, and brings minor optimizations for certain features. Forspoken has frame pacing, audio & shader compilation stutters issues

Square Enix has just released Forspoken on PC and things are not looking particularly well. One of the biggest features of this title was its support for DirectStorage. Forspoken PC demo releases later today on all available digital stores

Square Enix and Luminous Productions have announced that they will release a free playable PC demo later today. According to the teams, this PC demo will be available on all available digital stores, meaning that it will appear on Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store.
