Resident Evil Remaster is coming in early 2015 on PC, current-gen and old-gen consoles. And while Capcom has only revealed screenshots from the old-gen version, NeoGAF member ‘Sectus‘ has captured a number of Wii screenshots from the first remake of Resident Evil in order to compare them with the new, upcoming HD overhaul. Do note that Sectus used a Wii emulator, meaning that the IQ difference is even higher than what is being displayed below. YouTube’s ‘MrBZork’ has posted the third developer commentary for the fan-made remake of Resident Evil 1.5. Resident Evil 1.5 is being made by a team of hackers who obtained an incomplete build of the legendary scrapped version of Resident Evil 2, and are working to finish it. A couple of months ago, the team released an early version of it. There is no ETA yet about a more polished version, but it’s good to see the team still working on it. Modder Doomero has informed us about the release of the Doom The Mercenaries’ Zandronum Version (as expected, this version is compatible with Zandronum 1.0/SkulltagG98D). This is basically a mod for Doom that features characters from Resident Evil 4 and changes the perspective from first-person to third-person. Players can choose Leon Kennedy, Hunk, Ada Wong, Jack Krauser and Albert Wesker. This mod supports both SP and Co-Op modes, and can be downloaded from the here. Last week, we informed you about an early version of Resident Evil 1.5. Well, good news is that the team has not received yet any C&D letter from Capcom. What really surprised us, though, was the dedication of this team in this project and the fact that they’re experimenting with some ‘modern’ ideas. As a result of that experimentation, Resident Evil 1.5 might feature a third-person camera viewpoint, similar to the one of all recent Resident Evil games.
