YouTube’s ‘MrKingx11’ has shared with us a new video, showing a retro Reshade mod for Dark Souls III in action. This Reshade recreates the atmosphere of a 1980’s VHS, and looks pretty cool. To be honest, I find it really hard to actually play the game this way. Nevertheless, it looks really cool, so be sure to check out the video after the jump! Dark Souls III – PC Performance Analysis
FromSoftware is a studio that has, actually, learned from its mistakes these past few years. The first Dark Souls game was a big letdown and a rushed console port. On the other hand, Dark Souls 2 was arguably a more polished product, though it was held back by consoles and due to parity reasons (it’s a shame that its advanced lighting system was discarded). And Dark Souls III releases in a couple of days, so time to see how this game performs on the PC platform. Continue reading Dark Souls III – PC Performance Analysis
Dark Souls III – Max Versus Low Comparison Screenshots
Dark Souls III releases next week and below you can find some comparison screenshots between the game’s Max and Low settings. Ironically enough, the Max screenshots look blurrier than the Low images due to the excessive use of Depth of Field and the AA solution that Dark Souls III uses. Therefore, we strongly suggest disabling them (you will get more jaggies but at least you’ll have crispier visuals). Max screenshots are on the left whereas Low screenshots are on the right. Enjoy!
