Our reader Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has informed us about the progress of his Mortal Kombat II Snes mod for Doom via skulltag/zandronum. According to the modder, this mod has been completed by 50% and in order to showcase the progress that has been made to it, Doomero has released a video that can be viewed below. This mod has potential, however there are still issues that need Doomero’s attention. As huge MK fans, we find it really interesting so make sure to give it a go. Man, it’s been 20 years since the release of the first Mortal Kombat game. Some hated it, others loved it. Personally, I loved all 2D versions of this legendary series and I still remember visiting the arcades to play Mortal Kombat 2. Or how about the cencored SNES version of MK1 that was – kind of – awful? Or the way the media advertised it, stating that this game would turn us into psychopaths? Ah, the memories. But anyway.
