Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 gets some new screenshots

Focus Entertainment has released some new screenshots for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. These screenshots showcase a couple of the game’s environments, as well as the space marines themselves.

In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, you get to be a powerful Space Marine, one of the Emperor’s greatest warriors. The game promises to offer awesome abilities and really strong weapons to wipe out the Tyranid enemies. You’ll also be able to unleash your skills and take down relentless hordes.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will be powered by Saber Interactive’s proprietary engine. This engine was also used in World War Z which ran extremely well on PC. So, we are curious to see how this new Warhammer game will run with its dozens of enemies that can appear on screen.

Focus Entertainment will release Space Marine 2 on September 9th, 2024.

  1. one of the 3 games i am actually very much looking forward to next year they better not pull online only with this like saber did with evil dead and the steam page lacks single player tag so i am a bit worried

        1. No, I haven’t played any of them and now I wonder if I can. I had the boxed game long ago but I lost all of my old games in one of my moves. GOG doesn’t have the original and Steam only has a 20th Anniversary edition. Not sure if the mods will work with that. I’m going to have to look into it.

          1. oh and you only need duke 3d grp file you run the game through eduke32 which is source port like gzdoom.

  2. The delays are getting me uneasy, I hope it’s good, but considering the choppy framerate and some performance issues in the World War Z games, I think this will be an unoptimized mess.
    Looks fantastic though!
