      1. Still does. But these are two different engines. UE4 has built in support for tessellation, don’t know about FFXV’s Luminous Engine…

    1. It will, theres a reason all of the FF games were ported to PC including the remaster of X and VGLeaks is usually on point.

  1. This game needs to disappear until six months before it release; which I believe won’t be until 2018 at the earliest. 2017 lol.

    1. 7 years after Bad Company 2…….

      Partially destructible environments!

      Yaaaaaay!

      ;D

Oh, wait, no, my bad – eight years, since this will probably not even release in 2017!

  2. TBH with SE announcing games so early don’t be surprised if we see buttloads of prototype concepts between now and release that never see fruition for a multitude of development reasons. It looks like we have some kind of stealth/cover system here… might not even be so much as a hint of it in the final game.

We saw the same, even with FFXV which transformed quite a bit (just taking into account everything shown since it was re-revealed at XV).

Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if half the Kingdom Hearts III stuff we’ve seen doesn’t make it to the final game. Anything can change, be altered or outright dropped in development and the chances of that happening when development is protracted soars.

I’m taking everything I see of this game as more ‘proof of concept’ than indicative of an actual game.

  3. i tried playing it, the contrast between awful looking character models and realistic 2d background put me off. This and the outcast remake are much needed. Also system shock.

  4. It’s not inspired by ff15,it’s the same combat system as ff7 had,you can clearly see the ATB bar. It fills, you take action, just like ff7.
